A brand-new battery technology could soon power EVs for 1,000 miles — on a single charge.
To put that in perspective…
If you were to drive a Nissan Leaf from coast to coast, you’d have to recharge the battery eight times…
A Chevy Bolt, seven times…
Even the Tesla Model X would need to be charged six times.
And you’d have to hang around for anywhere between one and 12 hours at each charging station.
But with this new battery technology in your vehicle, you’d only have to recharge ONCE … in a matter of minutes.

“Which coasts are they referring to? The ones I’m familiar with are 3000 miles apart.”
Maybe Florida’s coasts. From the Atlantic to the Gulf of Mexico.
It isn't.
I CALL BS!
Coast to coast on a small island in the St. Lawrence River
Panama works, too.
How does one drop that much energy into any battery in a matter of minutes?
“WE ALWAYS NEW?” NO WAY WE KNEW!!
What if they are like these? Owner can say “My neighbors have those great big Fiat 500s and Smart cars. They look like aircraft carriers on wheels. How do they park them in the city?”
Carefully. Verrrrrry carefully.
Experts say EV battery explosions remain rare as authorities extinguish two fires in one week.
Electric vehicle battery causes fire at Sydney Airport, destroys five cars.
Still 50 miles when you travel in winter.
‘Only profits in EVs are the ones selling them owners can never recover the costs.’
Not true!
There’s obviously a lot of profits to be made selling shares in magical electric car companies too.
They only way Battery powered could work is from-the-road-while-moving-charging. And that eould be insanely expensive and there is not enough electricity anyway. Nor is there enough for enough for everyone to drive battery cars.
I got no information. What do they call this kind of web site? Click bait? Phishing scheme for your email address?
Was it in Plutonium Today magazine?
Batteries degrade. If you just bought a new one, would you exchange it for an unknown?
Propane tanks don’t degrade.
You’d have a better chance of the E-Cat cold fusion generator powering your car across the country.
***and a solid copper charging cable as thick as your arm ***
I see the bums cutting copper wire to get cash for drugs and liquor.
It used to be a joke in power plant construction that “IF you could not double your weekly wage by stealing copper then you were a very poor construction employee.”
To the stupid public with their crap public education, it all makes sense. To them electricity is magic that provides as much power as you need without blowing a fuse. All you need is a big enough fuse.
If it were true, it would halt global warming, so I’m against it.
Global warming good points:
1. You could grow cotton, pineapples, mangos, etc., in upstate New York or even Russia.
2. If the oceans are going to rise, you could hire the idle poor to build dykes, and that would not only give them something to do besides making babies they don’t support, but also teach them valuable skills. Dyke building would be in demand, and develop into a respected profession.
3. If the poles would warm and the glaciers melt, there would be more water, more rain, and I bet you the polar bears, penguins and seals will like it just fine. So would the fish.
4. Sports seasons could be extended, except for Hockey, which gets violent too often anyway.
5. It’s all BS, and I want to call the leftards’ bluff. They’re always making up crises and calling for drastic action to combat the made-up crisis. Let’s just see if the wolf really does eat the shepherd boy or his flock this time. If it’s real, oh well. It’s a good thing.
Maybe Nicaragua?
