Patricia Neal said in an interview many decades later that they had a hard time shooting that movie because Michael Rennie and her couldn’t stop laughing at the ridiculous script. The would have to do multiple takes to get one scene done without bursting out laughing.
Little did they know it would become a sci-fi classic movie for all time..................
