Treat Williams, the star of Everwood and Hair, has died after being involved in a motorcycle accident. He was 71.
The actor's death was confirmed to PEOPLE on Monday evening by his agent of 15 years, Barry McPherson.
"He was killed this afternoon. He was making a left or a right [and] a car cut him off," McPherson says. "I'm just devastated. He was the nicest guy. He was so talented."
"He was an actor's actor. Filmmakers loved him. He's been the heart of the Hollywood since the late 1970s," McPherson continues. "He was really proud of his performance this year. He's been so happy with the work that I got him. He's had a balanced career."

Was it a 3 cylinder 2 stroke?
I am not being sarcastic when I say he at least died doing something he loved.
I really enjoyed my motorcycle years, but I gave it up when my perceived risk/reward ratio was no longer acceptable to me.
There’s a law that would fix that:
Kill a cyclist, GO TO JAIL.
Neither motorcycles nor bicycles are invisible. “I didn’t see him” shouldn’t excuse you from homicide.
It’s not.
In Florida you will be charged with manslaughter................
I gave up bikes at 60, and then took it back up at 70 with a can Am three wheeler. They’re nice bikes and fun but it’s not the same, more like a sports car, so I sold it and got a real sports car, another Vette to replace the Vette I sold before I got the bike. Gotta have some toy.

Dude had hella hair.
Rest In Peace.
Gave up on a Ducati and switched to a Hond S2000 which was a blast, more comfortable, and equally sketchy in the rain.
You are multiple times more likely to die or be seriously injured in a road accident if driving a motorcycle than driving a car. Now that doesn’t mean driving a motorcycle should be banned on a public highway. However use of motorcycle lanes, like bike lanes, has been shown to make motorcycles more visible to other motorists in nations that use them and should be considered
What I really always wanted was a Countach, but never could afford it and still can’t.
He was good in comedy and drama.
A definite plus in Hollywood...................
