‘Roid Rage?
Should have hit him with a folding chair and then put him through a folding table.
He should be banned from competing for the remainder of his high school years.
He should and be expelled for the rest of the year, denied the privilege of wrestling and spend the next school year in an alternative school
I am glad that wasn’t my son that got sucker punched, because .. honestly I don’t know if I could of stopped myself from beating that punk to a pulp
Glad they’re pressing charges. That’s all that will stop this. Except the judge will probably let him go because it’s a “cultural thing”…
Darned Amish!
Deport Hafid Alicea and his parents...Even if they’re from here. Get um out!
Lombardi on losing: "Show me a good loser and I will show you a loser"
Since race and ethnicity are the MOST IMPORTANT facts of a crime, like when some is shot by pulling into the wrong driveway [white woman, so no biggie] or knocking on the wrong door [black kid, gets white house invite], this dude’s first and last name is of arabic origin, mostly from north Africa.
I only mention it because the reports keep calling him a white dude and since race is always the MOST IMPORTANT fact, it needs to be corrected.
Or is that irrelevant? /s
We had a similar incident happen at a high school wrestling match. Both had very good records. Our guy won. While taking ID strip off ankle, the other wrestler kicked him in the face. Our wrestler stood up looked him straight in face and put his hand out to shake his hand. Found out from people in stands that his mom had died a couple days before and he wanted to win for her. Sad story.
Lost the wrestling match. Won the street fighting match.
Which will serve him better in life, should he need to apply one or the other in self defense?
He should never be able to get on the mat ever again.
Be he will. With endorsements.
I actually punched my opponent in a J.O. wrestling match in my youth. As he was assuming the bottom position, he picked the nastiest booger and wiped it onto my leg. I was disqualified. I reacted before thinking.

His team should have been disqualified from the match. They would sort it out later.
He should be charged with assault and battery and banned from ANY sport for the remainder of his high school career. Prior to being allowed to participate in any sports in college (should he attend one), he should be required to go through long-term anger management classes. And, he should be required to write an apology to the victim, to his school and the school of the victim, and to the sports league or sponsors of the tournament.
WWE is holding tryouts in the schools now?
If this were in the everyday world, the winning kid would have his win stripped from him and be charged with a hate crime for being insensitive to the losers emotional state.
Hafid Alicea
A nice Anglo Saxon name.
