I had just started working overseas in 1980 when Mt. St. Helens blew and I had a co-worker who was from Spokane. His wife was telling him about how bad the ash was at home. A lot of cars died from ash ingestion.
I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near that Russian ash cloud in a plane.

I have no precious metals. I was buffeted about for using the word “we”, generically and now suffer a case of pause. I used first person “my”, which implied that I did. 😁
I’m confused about coins being filled, or less than a troy ounce, or too valuable for a loaf of bread, or finding a hidey hole, or Who’s going to give me change? 🙄
