Ok, so what are we going to do about the coming cashless economy?

Think tank time folks... It's coming, there is no stopping it. Now is the time to address it and prepare for it. All ideas welcome and I have few of my own. Starting with and including secret organizations and local black market "exchange" banks backed by hard assets such as equity, title loans, and local credit organizations. Local exchanges with their own local physical currency. Let's take it out of their hands and keep it in local hands just like the Mafia does.

And anyone who breaks their oath of loyalty and silence gets Indian justice. They get burned at the stake, tied over Anthills, or skinned alive and dumped out in Walmart parking lots still alive. I don't give a damned how "brutal and savage" you might think these methods are. But THEY WORK to install fear into those who might snitch. It only needs to be done a couple times to set the example, and then the example lasts for years and years.

Screw them and their laws. They are breaking laws by even creating this concept. The only way to fight back is fire against fire. It is going to be a matter of survival and war. There are no rules or laws in war. You cheat to survive period. An unjust immoral law is not a law bound by morality. They take a swing at us, we take a swing back. There are no rules in this war for basic survival...

Wisdom in what you share, but what happened to the last 40 years of “it will never happen here”?

It did... And it will continue to do so... So figure on it happening as the best odds on the bet.

“When does the power go out anymore? I mean really. I grew in the 70s when the power seemed to go out every other storm, and hit most of the city for enough hours to start worrying about food in the freezer. My last blackout was a couple of months ago, hit about 2 square miles, lasted about an hour. Last serious blackout was over 15 years ago, that lasted most of the day, but even then only took out 5 or 6 square miles, drive 2 miles in any direction no more blackout.”

And in those days we had the knowledge how to open a “cash box” and continue to do business for our customers. That knowledge is gone, no one can even do math and make change without the power and cash register to do it for them. Now if the power goes out forget it.

And now they turn off the power on purpose for many different reasons not even related to storms. And power shutdowns are going to become even more common as we overload the system with climate control and electric vehicle BS.

There are many forks to this issue of not having cash to exchange personally without the dependency on power, or the internet, let alone handing them the ability to just shut off the money switch...

And these days nobody needs those skills because the power doesn’t go out.

None of your “forks” matter. CASH IS DEAD. Has been for 40 years. You just aren’t willing to admit it to yourself. But the way you keep rolling around and around to other, not actually related issues, where you are also wrong, shows that even you know it on some level. You have no facts to counter it. Because the truth is there. The cashless society is already here, and you didn’t start fighting until you’d already lost.

Listen, it’s coming.

But they want you, and me, to panick and make mistakes.

Take it easy, don’t let them put you in panic mode.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

And here you go into stupid land again.

Well, I got better things to do with my time. Enjoy being an internet luddite fighting a fight you already lost. Funny, if you’d followed your own advice and opened your damned mind you’d know we’re already cashless.

bye now

That is not true... It goes out more often now than it ever did before the last 10 years. We never had the power go out much until they applied “Smart Tech” to the system.

Fact...

Oh, I’m good... I am personally way ahead of it... Have been for years. I just had to raise the question because of current events... :)

The trouble is carrying around cards and phones and too much stuff easy to lose.

The solution is embed everyone with 3 small chips with antenna. Everything we need to know will be sent directly to these 3 chip in our forehead. Everything we want to send will be sent as soon as we think it. It can triangulate our location so we will never get lost.

. . . 6 . 6

I have been see this coming and fighting against it since 1975, and my father before me did the same.

That too is a very good idea... If you don't like our money, stay the hell out of our STATE..!

Maybe the federal government works only when the people participate in it...

“Return to monke.”

Like it or not it is coming... I personally choose to do it on my terms not theirs.

Thank you for having the vision to see it too...

It is perplexing, and really does need to be figured out now rather than getting caught with our pants down.

I’m my reading in economics I ran across Greshams Law, good money drives out bad. If forced upon us, digital currency might get used for official purposes but real money will always be preferred. Who among us wouldn’t prefer a pre-1965 silver dime to a fiat $1 bill or the digital equivalent?

In a real SHTF situation, I think silver coins or even rounds of ammunition might easily replace digital fiat crap.

I don’t really care what people see I spend my money on. I’m not trying to hide income and expenses from taxes, I’m not laundering money.

I've never, never understood the people who, in response to invasions of privacy, especially by the government, say "I've got nothing to hide."
