Ok, so what are we going to do about the coming cashless economy?

Whatever we do, it’s only going to be a temporary measure, as the authorities figure out how to monetize all activity.
It’s an end-time indicator, so I’m not sure how much we can really do about it.

I guess I don’t see the problem unless cash is simply not avaialble. As it is now, I typically have less than $20 on me and use debit and credit cards for 99.9% of my transactions. For emergency, I often keep thousands of cash in gun safe. But day-to-day, I use cards. I don’t really care what people see I spend my money on. I’m not trying to hide income and expenses from taxes, I’m not laundering money.

Also, extended families are in large part much more functional than their component nuclear family parts because they barter amongst themselves, keeping the money in the family.

Indeed. Small pieces of silver and gold...carry a gold/silver chain and pay for things with a link or two.
Keep plenty of 187 ML ("1/2 pint") bottles of cheap vodka and whiskey handy/stashed...plastic bags with a cup of rice in them and 16.9 oz. bottles of water...things like that. So when it gets really bad, you've got the new "coin of the realm" ready to use.

“Pay our taxes in cash?”
Here is where they are goofing up... Those local circles will not be paying any taxes anymore. They will be working for “local” currency spent local.

A CBDC by it’s design is a computerized digital system which means it can hacked, my guess is a CBDC in the USA will be under constant cyber attack by hackers both patriots and foreign governments to disrupt our economy
Crashing the payment system of a U.S. CBDC is the most likely way to fight it

Well, one thing you can do is start looking now to locate property in a rural red state county in order to live in a bartering society.
However, that is not a feasible option for everyone. You could start now purchasing a few extra items each week that could be used for bartering in your own community. Get to know your neighbors and find out who can be trusted. Learn a bartering skill such as small electronic repair so you will have a skill to barter for goods.

It’s been mostly cashless for over 25 years. So I’ll keep doing what I’ve been doing. Which only uses cash a couple times a month.
