Love him or hate him, Tucker Carlson has become the most important political analyst of our era. The release to him of suppressed J6 Capitol footage that contradicted the Democrat/media narrative dominated political news until Carlson's questionnaire on Ukraine policy to the potential GOP presidential field knocked it out of the headlines. Not since Woodward and Bernstein dominated the news with Watergate has a media source produced results that focused the national spotlight so completely as Mr. Tucker Carlson. Unsurprisingly, many are the progressives who want to see him knocked off the air.
Last night, he began his top-rated hour-long program with the following startling statement: "You're going to get a hot war with Russia — and China — whether you want one or not."
He followed with analysis of the Black Sea drone incident and the calls for retaliation and escalation from Lindsey Graham and "his friends in the war party" that would likely lead to outright war. And wartime, he noted at the end of the segment, leads to extraordinary suppression of political dissent.
[T]he second we actually go to war with Russia, they will use that as a pretext to crush all dissent. Dissent is not allowed in wartime. And that's what this is really about (in addition to their personal enrichment). It's about changing the domestic politics of the United States. The second we can all say that we are at war with Russia, not 'in effect' but in reality in a hot war which is what they want, that's the moment you are no longer allowed to express your opinion. And the penalty is jail during war.
He linked the timing of the incident to the war skepticism over Ukraine voiced by many of the GOP respondents to his presidential field questionnaire. He also claimed...

Also China and Russia are looking for contextual reasons to launch their strike.
...but we have tolerance and diversity, so there.
So by your words you think that the people who were waved into the Capitol Building by the Police should all be in the government's gulag? And that the folks who are still being held in custody waiting for their trials should be there too, simply for walking into a building they are the landlord's of? You forget how many people were harassed by the FBI simply because they went to D.C. that day, and were on Capitol Hill. The FBI tracked them down via their cell phones, and credit card records. They even went after people who made social media comments that they'd planned to go, and even showed up on their doorstep despite their not having been there that day. One black father and daughter had gone to hear Trump's speech, then went to lunch and back home, and the FBI showed up on their doorstep. So don't think that Gestapo and KGB tactics aren't being practiced by the FBI and other government agencies. The US is a gulag, and has been for many years.
If you look at the article you see that people were put in jail for opposing his policies.
You can bet that would happen again with the current administration.
Just thought about it, Wilson and Biden have certain things in common, Democrat Party is one of them, then there’s this:
“The Surprising Evidence that Woodrow Wilson Was Suffering from a Brain Malfunction Before the Stroke that Crippled Him”

And the democRATs and some republicans have been bought out by China (McConnell you are one).
he (Tucker) says there are no restrictions

The restriction might be what he knows would make Fox end the no restrictions policy.
“So by your words you think that the people who were waved into the Capitol Building by the Police should all be in the government’s gulag?”
No, if those were “my words”, you could quote me saying them instead of trying to put your own words in my mouth.
Sounds about right.
He never retaliated against anyone for the bombing of French & U.S. troops in Beirut that killed 241 American soldiers, & 58 French soldiers.
Unless you were a long-haired, stinky anti-social war protestor during the Vietnam war

That wasn’t a necessary war. I don’t think what Tucker says apply to those.

You think they wouldn’t love to bring this back?
“If you look at the article you see that people were put in jail for opposing his policies.”
Sure, and if you read the article you’d know that the law in question was repealed, likely because it would never pass the scrutiny of the Supreme Court. Similar efforts since then certainly have not.
All we can do is ask the pertinent questions to encourage people to think instead of emoting.
One heard one's Senior US Senator on the radio this morning, being asked about the Russo/Ukrainian war, etc.
He started blubbering about the price of soybeans or some such stuff.
So fat chance getting the Republicans to do jack hsit about the Brandon problem. They've got their eyes right on the ball, keeping the price of agricultural commodities as low as possible by sending Billions of dollars to Ukraine. /s
Supplying the troops that landed in Normandy on D-Day with the fuel they needed for all the vehicles, etc. that had been brought ashore, was hard enough back then when there wasn't a ban on drilling, not to mention the sinking of tankers crossing the Atlantic carrying the fuel. There is no way this country could consistently fuel a fighting military overseas today. My father's brother was a Sergeant in the 787th Engineer Petroleum Distribution Company, and from what I can ascertain, he landed at Normandy a few days after the D-Day Landings. He died in 1948, 10 months after I was born, so I never actually knew him.
I like Tucker, but he recently developed a bad case of Ray Eppsamnesia. Chuck Schumer did a number on him.
More like Paul Ryan did a number on him.
I agree per my post #51 in this thread.
