No, if those were “my words”, you could quote me saying them instead of trying to put your own words in my mouth.
Sounds to me that when you say they did "something other than just going to Washington, D.C., that you believe the government's holding them without bail, being given outrageous sentences that aren't compatible with the charges, being held for over 26 months awaiting trial, and being mistreated by the government's prison system all this time is justified. They're in jail simply because the government coordinated, and manipulated the whole thing.
