You just can’t make this up! After allowing a China spy balloon to float across Alaska and the continental United States for the last 10 days, the US military finally shot the balloon down after its work was accomplished.
Now the US military is concerned they may not reach the balloon wreckage before China can. The balloon was shot down 6 miles off the coast of Carolina. They can’t be serious, except that they are.
The US military will not have a proper salvage vessel at the scene for several days.
These clowns are making a mockery of the United States.

Does anyone know if we beat the Chinese to that F-35 that fell off a carrier in the Taiwan straights? Last I heard there was a race to get there first.
Remember when Navy ships picked up astronauts from a NASA space capsule in the 1960’s?
This is just lies. We can drone strike a cockroach from miles away and pinpoint our missiles like Sulimani when we want.
Wanna bet they got naval security out there right now?
And would prevent anyone, including citizens who decided to go out and gather it up for this country.
That is how sordid they are.
Xi owns the Bidens. Short answer is No.
p
Betcha it’s already been picked up and whatever is publicly announced will be a cover story.
Do you suppose these rowers could get there first? 😜🤪😝
Nope. You didn't take time to look at the hi-res video that clearly shows the missile impact at the bottom of the balloon. The payload began dropping, then the balloon began to shred.
My buddy says the area is locked down, his Nav System is just a black no-go zone.

I was on one such ship. The USS Goodrich, a DDR out of Mayport Florida.

I miss Barney Fife. He knew how to get things done!
Asking for a friend.
Why wouldn’t they fly that in on commercial airliners? Like last time.
What are you smoking? This story comes from the Daily Mail. US secures perimeter around spy balloon to stop China reaching it before navy salvage vessel which may not be on scene six miles off the coast of South Carolina for DAYS - as cockpit audio details moment it was shot down
We need more real journalists like Jim Hoft and his great site, Gateway Pundit.
US Navy and Coast Guard vessels are securing the perimeter off the coast of South Carolina where a fighter jet shot down a Chinese spy balloon.
A proper salvage vessel, however, won't be on the scene for days, officials said
They added that the downed balloon had a debris field of seven-miles wide and fell into waters of about 47 feet deep
Remember, the DoD is the bureaucratic equivalent of your local DMV, except with nukes.
Good going sailor. I’m just saying if you guys were good enough to find the astronauts in the deep blue sea fifty plus years ago the navy should be good enough with all that cool new technology to find the pieces of a balloon a few miles off South Carolina.
Our “New” military is too busy worrying about using the proper pronouns, providing gender-reassignment surgeries, naming ships after rump-rangers, etc., to be ready to respond to an intrusion into U.S. airspace by foreign flying objects (which easily could have been armed with a weapon/bombs/chemicals/etc.).
