@CryptidPolitics

Trump World is debuting an interesting strategy in the lead up to 2024:

“Let’s bash and lie about the most popular Republican governor!”

I’m sure that will be a winning strategy.

Interesting tweet and I've seen Trump going after DeSantis and was just wondering what Freepers thought of this?

I'm not sure it's a good idea....

A better question would be:

What do you think about Ron DeSantis Supporters who routinely twist the truth to bash and smear President Trump's record?

DO NOT LIKE

Plenty of bad guys. and bad things. That should be worth his attention.
How about nuc war or recession or covid corruption and excess deaths

I think these personal attacks show a weak man.

I think it sucks. Cruz bashing Trump for the Chicago rally riot is what turned me off him. Reagan always said not to speak ill of fellow republicans. Trump better knock that trash talk off yesterday!

Trump went after Jeb Bush and Yeb has never recovered..
Does DeSantis really want to jump in? Or Does he want to wait until 2028?
Time will tell.

It’s weird, and I must confess I don’t understand it.

Maybe when 2024 rolls around it will make more sense.

“I’m sure that will be a winning strategy.”

Trump’s strategy of “getting personal” has worked pretty well against every other political opponent he’s faced so far.

Trump talked that way about, and to, gop opponents in 2016. And Jebbie was an easy target, being an NWO fellow. But I agree he needs to tone it down until the primaries.

I don’t like it but Trump sees DeSantis as an adversary in the upcoming campaign. To get the nomination his biggest threat would be DeSantis.Trump knows you have to stay on offense. We may not like it but Trump wants to be President and Ron may be his first obstacle.

Well, there’s the old Reagan rule, which I would apply to this situation, but I find it difficult to apply to everyone that has an R next to their names, since I don’t believe they are really Republicans. Mike Hogan and Nikki Haley come to mind since they are both about to run for president.

Let them fight it out. That's politics.

Don't be stupid enough to respond to the leftists baiting the supporters on each side. At the end of the day, conservatives need to unite around one of these two once a winner is decided.

I sure wish Trump would cease and desist. Trump and DeSantis are on the same side! Mr. Trump’s unwarranted and ever-increasing attacks on a fellow Republican whose actions as Florida’s governor have indisputably proven his conservative bona-fides only makes Donald Trump look small.

You are acting like Jeb Bush was going anywhere before that.

I wish that the Republicans would have worked together over the past two years to restore election integrity, but they said to get over it, or they were glad Trump had it stolen from him. Now no one can win the General.

Trump won in 2020 and it was stolen from him. He deserves a do-over and should win in 2024. I expect DeSantis to step back and make it clear that he wants Trump to win the presidency (again) in 2024. But, if DeSantis wants to get in the ring, he should expect to be punched.
