There is a difference between EVs and delegates. He probably has already chalked the delegates up as a loss, but they will be red in November 24.

GOP now has a 200,000 edge, having been in a 1 m DEFICIT.
So someone would have to drastically turn off FL voters.

That is why I suggested private polling with frequent snapshots to monitor the trend. I'm here on the ground in FL and many are mad about the attacks on DeSantis. The same people put them both in office. They don't understand why Trump is attacking him when he is just doing what he is elected to do. They hated it when the Rinos did it to Trump and they see this the same way.
I don't have answers, just observations that I'm passing along. I think private polling specifically of FL voters would be wise. These people were typically non-voters but they came out in droves for Trump and then DeSantis. If they turn on Trump, he'll never get them back. That's the way they are ... truckers, bikers, waitresses, bible-thumpers, hunter, etc.

Maybe in FL, but the very people you mention in WI, PA, MI would never back DeSantis. He’d win OH, but not by 8.5 like Trump did.

desantis issued a statement 3 weeks ago instructing people not to donate any money to any organization that claims he’s running for president in 2024...
desantis never announced he’s running for president...

Dude there is no supportive evidence for such claims. DeSantis has been busy, doing what he was elected to do, quite successfully.
Why should he drop everything to respond to Trump or insert himself in the primary’s? It’s not what he was hired to do.
Folks think he should address every slight or suspicion by Trump and his faithful. He has better things to do.
