Inflation is hitting the beer industry.
Beer prices have risen over the past few months, with an overall increase of 7% in the last quarter of 2022, according to consulting company Bump Williams.
Top brands like Bud Light and Miller Lite have jumped 10%, the company said.
Experts cited the cost of shipping and ingredients as the reason for the price increase.
If you buy a case of beer for $20.00 maybe 25 cents is shipping costs. Even if shipping costs double it would oly be 50 cents per case. 2 cents a bottle.

The price of hoss p!ss is going up.🤪
No sarcasm intended.
It is a goose/gander situation. If we can’t have coal, oil or gas.......we can’t have beer or cokes
Not true. I am talking about shipping on the production side of the house. If you order pallets upon pallets of malt and hops the cost of getting that into your brewery is killing you. Shipping is not just outbound but inbound as well. Everything is shipped on a truck and the price of diesel is ridiculous and has been for a while.
