Inflation is hitting the beer industry.

Beer prices have risen over the past few months, with an overall increase of 7% in the last quarter of 2022, according to consulting company Bump Williams.

Top brands like Bud Light and Miller Lite have jumped 10%, the company said.

Experts cited the cost of shipping and ingredients as the reason for the price increase.

The basic American lager will sell on the last day of human existence.

No matter the price.

Inflation proof.

Yes it’s time to panic! Beer is up 20% at the class VI store on base, about 40% off base.

In the last few months, Yuengling cases have gone from $21.99 to $23.99 to $27.99 at my Publix. Also, hardly ever on sale anymore. Used to see them on sale for $19.99.

I used to be a huge beer aficionado. I just got tired of it. I’ve had probably two beers in the last year and after each one I wondered why I even ordered them at a restaurant. Frankly, I prefer club soda with food more than beer now.

But don’t mess with my Bourbon and scotch. 😎😎

I drank enough beer in my younger days to float a battleship.

Now that I am old, I never even think about it.

When I think of all that money I literally pissed away..........................

Beer is a major source of CO2 atmospheric pollution.

We must rid America of the greenhouse gas pollution and eliminate the carbonation of beer and cokes

All alcohol fermentation creates CO2. All liquor must be eliminated.

When it came to beer, I was always a “quality over quantity” sort of guy.” If I wanted to get drunk, it was always wine or stiff drinks.

But I dearly loved my microbrews...

But your comment reminded me of an old joke: Guy is peeing at a urinal in a bar and a guy walks up next to him and dumps an entire beer into the urinal next to him. He asks the guy why he did that, and the guy responded, “I’m tired of being the middle man.”😉

Shipping costs have gone up dramatically due to Inflation and fuel costs due to terrible energy policies. Ingredient costs have gone up dramatically due to Inflation and supply chain disruptions.
