The death of famous conservative radio personality Dori Monson sent shockwaves across Seattle and the talk radio world. He was just 61-years-old when he had a “cardiac event” at his home that put him in the hospital for two days. He died just before the new year.
According to his report on a show he did April 13, 2021, he had an adverse reaction to his second dose of the Moderna Covid jab and had to take a rare sick day. During the show, he expressed his desire to be vaccinated based on his age and the fact that he believed there was a “tiny, tiny” chance of having adverse reactions to the jabs.
“I went in positive I wasn’t going to get sick and then it just kicked my butt,” he said referring to his experience with the second dose. “So, Sunday night I’m sick. It’s kind of everything I’d heard about the second dose of the Moderna which is what I got. I’m sick. And I’m still planning on working on Monday.
“So I got to bed, I sleep about eight hours which is really good for me. And I wake up at 7:30 yesterday morning, right, to do show prep. And then, I’m sitting downstairs with my laptop on my chest and doing show prep and I discovered that I’m falling asleep every three minutes while trying to do show prep. I could not stay awake. And I thought, well maybe I can’t do the show today.”
He then explained how he had a 33-hour stretch where he slept 26 hours.
As reported by the Seattle Times:
Dori Monson, the Puget Sound region’s longtime conservative radio host from “the mean streets of Ballard,” died Saturday night at a Seattle hospital, according to KIRO Newsradio. He was 61.
Monson hosted his highly rated three-hour show each weekday, and for many years had been a part of the Seahawks radio broadcast team and local sports.
KIRO Newsradio described him as a “longtime watchdog of government and social issues” and said the station is working to create on-air tributes. A written statement from Bonneville International, which owns KIRO-FM, said Monson suffered a “cardiac event” at home Thursday and was hospitalized.
Despite being at least double-jabbed himself, Monson adamantly opposed vaccine mandates and became one of Washington Governor Jay Inslee’s most vocal critics on his handling of the pandemic.
“ Do you take something to control systemic inflammation?”
I have to take statins to reduce cholesterol.
Red yeast rice worked too but it caused other issues.
Thank you.
I’m a fitness and nutrition nerd, so I like to get all the stories/data points I can.
He probably had to take the vaxx to work. Many vaxxed did so for the same reason.
Not sure about a trigger, but I would check troponin level immediately after getting the vaxx, and then keep an eye on various markers of inflammation like C-reactive protein after that. There’s still a lot of unknowns about this, but anybody who has been following the research on pubmed knows that this vaxx is likely very risky over both the short and long term.
Those vaxxes have harmed more people than they've saved.
And the vaxxes were such a great idea that Deep State made certain the people harmed have no legal means of redress.
With the uptake rate cratering, the vaxxes have got to be doing far more long term damage than anyone has admitted.
No doubt those who pushed the vaxx will keep up the denial as long as possible.
I’m just amazed at how many famous people there are that I’ve never heard if.
People over 60 who "died suddenly" are lost in statistical noise from natural variations in year-to-year mortality rates for those age groups. The signals there are visble, but weak.
The excess mortality signals are extremely strong in the 16–49-year age groups, who should not be having the observed rates of heart attacks, strokes, embolisms and cancer. And since when have pediatric strokes been a thing that doctors were instructed to look for in normal practice? Those conditions used to be extremely rare. Now they are said to be "uncommon". That is a huge change, all in the last 18-24 months.
Again, jumping to all sorts of conclusions, while not reading critically.
First, the 2nd dose mentioned (NOT any “boosters” mentioned) was April 2021. That is a year and a half prior to death.
Thus, the headline is DISINGENUOUS making us think somebody died just soon after getting a shot. Which is OFTEN the assumption here, that COVID shots are almost instantly killing people (it has not my husband, thankfully).
Critical reading and thinking, people.
I am CORRECT about that.
2nd, you ASSume I love shots, etc. NO, I don’t. Read critically. Where does it say I do? Further, if you examined my postings, it would reveal MUCH denigration of rushed biology for these vaxes.
3rd, I’m a woman. Not that it matters much, but you made more assumptions.
There is no “right age” to get a Covid jab.
They are dangerous for everyone.
Based on his age? WTF, he was 61. Oh well, good decision.
Wow, talk about reading.
Thoroughly, and critically.
You need to read the article. Stop assuming the headline tells you the story.
First poster was right. It was 21 months later.
Funny, this is exactly what my reply to your smarmy reaction to my first post was about.
Just, wow.
You are right, it was 8 months.
8 + 12 = 20.
But either way, it’s been a long time.
Could it be long-term problems? Maybe. But it is definitely not a short-term sudden death from vaxes.
I wouldn’t call him famous. But he was a familiar voice on KIRO radio for the last 30 years. Part of the regular Seahawks broadcast but also a conservative critic of the Seattle’s descent into the abyss.
Go study up before stating, and then restating, such baloney. There is a rash of reactions and death just after the jabs, but then longer processes that lead to similar results to what was experienced here. The stats are overwhelming. Having had a reaction after one of the jabs if anything could well be correlated with such an ultimate outcome and certainly isn’t counter to such. Jeesh!
geesh!
The point is it is totally disconnected in time. Yet the misleading headline wants you to believe that this guy died within short time of a vax (which is a VERY popular observation of FRers).
I am correct.
It just states how he had a sickness reaction right after his 2nd dose waaaay back in April, 2021. The “reaction” is not the “death” as implied in the headline.
Don’t lecture me about COVID hysteria or the vaxes. No one hates it more than I.
But this is false, misleading info and does NOT make the anti-hysteria side look good.
