Heretics From History Forecasted The Apocalypse For 2023

So-called heretics from history had some major predictions for 2023, and most of them revolve around the apocalypse.

Let’s start with Nostradamus, a French astrologer who forecast the arrival of the Antichrist, World War III, mass depopulation, a drying ocean, and the burning down of the British monarchy — all in 2023. In his writings, Nostradamus predicted “seven months Great War [and] people dead through evil” as our apocalypse appetizer, according to the New York Post.

As for Buckingham Palace, apparently it’s going to see a “celestial fire on the royal edifice,” the outlet noted. Some might argue that this is a metaphor for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix show, where they highlight the fact that the only reason the Royal Family exists is for the press. Could we be moving to a whole new chapter in the relationship between the Royals and We The Taxpayers who keep them in their castles?

For his final ode to the year, Nostradamus wrote that in or around 2023, “the antichrist very soon annihilates the three. Twenty-seven years his war will last. The unbelievers are dead, captive, exiled. With blood, human bodies, water red and hail covering the year.”

What fun, said no one, ever!

The French forecaster was not alone in his belief that the Antichrist was on his way. Christians see the drying of the Euphrates River, described in Revelation, as a sign that the Antichrist shall return. Academics and scholars have pointed to climate change and agriculture as the reasons for the river drying up, but this does not dispel the predictions made in the Bible. Either way, we’re on our way to a humanitarian crisis in the region, according to Al Jazeera.

Then there’s Baba Vanga, a Bulgarian psychic and healer who made some startlingly accurate predictions for the year. While Baba Vanga isn’t exactly a heretic in the traditional sense, the power of foresight like hers has typically been met with labels of Hellish undertones or mental illness — despite the consistency of correctness.

Baba Vanga predicted famine in India and a drop in temperatures that will result in a plague of locusts. While India is certainly struggling with crop productions, we here in the U.S. have had a massive drop in temperature that could easily have drastic knock-on effects into 2023 crop yields.

Farmers spent much of 2022 warning Americans that there are significant issues with our domestic food production. Baba Vanga also forecast water shortages, which we’ve already experienced in 2022 and will likely get worse as we roll into 2023. Oh, and then there’s the pandemic that’ll emerge from the Siberian tundra, mass natural disasters, and the arrival of alien life via an asteroid.

Not to go too far down the conspiracy rabbit hole, but America has been waiting for the release of an All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office report that was due in October on various unidentified aerial phenomena. Naval officials have previously stated that the release of related data would pose significant national security risks, so perhaps the aliens have already landed and our government doesn’t want us to know just yet?

Finally, it should be noted that some brilliant minds from modern history have already foreshadowed the coming financial apocalypse of 2023. Sensible folks could see the forest for the trees in early 2022, and liquidated all assets just like economic soothsayer Michael Burry. If you haven’t, go and do it today. Also, buy seeds.

I have this book from the late 1970's called "The Book of Predictions" by David Wallechinsky. It is a compilation of all the leading 'psychic' of the time, as well as other prophets from history. It has been a while since I read it, but it was full of things like world wars, and space aliens, and cures for cancer. Miracle new energy sources and other fantastic things that were supposed to happen by now.

What they failed to 'see' was Ronald Reagan, AIDS, 9-11, the collapse of the Soviet Union, you know the little stuff...

La Cosa Nostradamus predictions are probably better than Nostradumbass' by at least an order of magnitude

The rest of the Nostradamus keyword, sorted:

I predict that death rates will accelerate noticeably in 2023, adding greatly to the war, economic and political impacts that are coming. If I’m right, I will ping this comment as proof. Otherwise I won’t.
