Former University of Central Florida (UCF) football player and Massachusetts native Jake Hescock died suddenly on Tuesday, according to his family.
Hescock, 25, collapsed while jogging in Boston last week, his cousin Lisa Walz Mlynarczyk wrote on a Facebook group dedicated to him.
According to reports, Hescock suffered from cardiac arrest.
“He was given CPR and has been on life support ever since. We were told last night that the damage to his brain from the lack of oxygen is severe,” she wrote.
A passerby found him and provided CPR, and was taken to the hospital.
“A Good Samaritan found him and gave him CPR. He suffered cardiac arrest. He is intubated in ICU. The next 48 to 72 hours are critical [because] they don’t know how long he was not breathing until he was found.”
On Friday, Jake’s mother, Carey Hescock, provided an update on his son.
“Jake currently remains in critical condition,” said Carey. “He remains on a ventilator that is currently breathing for him. He is on a machine that is taking the blood out of his body, oxygenating it and giving it back today. We are hoping for that to be able to be turned off today or tomorrow.”
“His heart function is having small improvements but continues to be much lower than it should be. Our main focus at the moment is at his neurological status. He is sedated, so they are keeping him asleep to allow his body to heel. When the sedation is off we are hoping to see improvements, so far they are minimal but encouraging,” she continued.
On Sunday, Jake’s cousin Lisa provided another update and announced that Jake had passed away.
“It is with a heavy heart that I have to say my cousin Jake has passed on, may he Rest in Peace and forever shine his bright soul down upon us, I’m sure Papa was there waiting for you with open arms….. forever you will be, Lil Jakers! Thank you everyone for your prayers during this difficult time,” she wrote.
UCF Football released a statement stating Jake will be missed by the Knight Nation.
“We are devastated to hear of the passing of Jake Hescock. He was beloved by everyone within Knight Nation. Our deepest condolences go out to everyone who knew Jake. He was taken too soon and will be greatly missed.”
Coach Gus Malzahn honored Hescock on Twitter, saying, “we’re heartbroken to hear of Jake’s passing. He was an incredible person, who embodied what it means to be a UCF Knight. Everyone who knew Jake loved him and he was a blessing to coach.He will be greatly missed. Kristi and I’s prayers are with his whole family.”
Following the tragic news of his passing, Jake has been remembered by hundreds of supporters, friends, and family members.

Reggie Lewis died because he snorted TOO much COCAINE.

Uh, no....Derrick Thomas did not just collapse and die suddenly. He died about a month after being paralyzed in a car crash on an icy road at the age of 33. The blood clot resulted from the injury for which he was hospitalized.

There needs to be data that the public can view.
Otherwise it turns into secret squirrel and “a friend of a friend” saw the data, etc. That does no one any good.
All cause deaths is an unbiased data set. Steady state actuarial death rates typically vary 1 to 2 percent year to year. After the rollout of the vaccines, there was a 40% increase in all cause deaths.
Looking under the covers of the all cause deaths, it turns out the first spike was due to government forcing the most vulnerable elderly populations into nursing homes where they became infected and died rapidly.
The next waves of death hit the vulnerable hardest. Elderly, sick and minorities. Why? Because the government pushed vaccination of these groups FIRST over "privileged" people. It was vaccine "equity" that put needles in the arms of these groups first and initiated huge death spike. Most of the vaxx death occurs in the first 5 days. Anaphylactic reactions occur within minutes of injection. In some instances there is a delay of up to 3 days.

Dr Peter McCullough did mention on one of his videos that the enzyme supplement Serrapeptase might be helpful in degrading some of the errant spike proteins, though there’s no clinical evidence yet for that.
It shows waves of excess deaths correlated with Covid infection waves, but nothing correlated with vaccinations.

Unless the article specifically calls out his “vax” status, you can safely assume he got the shots. If these people who are just randomly dropping dead for no specific reason were unvaxed, they WOULD mention it.

The obvious culprit is “cardio exercise.” The heart doesn’t need to work any harder. It always is the hardest working and most reliable muscle of the human body. It is the other skeletal muscles that frequently languish — and they play the most significant role in optimizing health, functioning, and continued well-being. There is even the legend of “John Henry,” who was a hard-working man who thought he could outwork a steam engine — and of course, his heart exploded with that effort.
Similarly, a lot of the “World’s Strongest Man” competitors suffer from and even died of the great exertions required by their event. Additionally, it is a well-recognized fact that many of the top competitors in the Mr. Olympia and other bodybuilding contests experience heart as well as all other kinds of vital organ failures — thinking that it is enough just to push their bodies and organs to their limits for the body to adapt to those demands — rather than attaining critical failures — as with most things in real life.
Brute force is not going to make one invulnerable — especially from self-inflicted abuses — whether from exercise or from illicit drugs, and in many cases, both. So these untimely ends are not entirely unexpected and unprecedented, but are well-proven, and despite that, many go into denial about these obvious realities.
I’ve long pointed out that the heart has little effect on enhancing the circulation in the body — because it is the CONSTANT and not the VARIABLE — and in every experiment and experience, it is the variable that accounts for any significant difference and not the constant which is immutable. That is to say, that the heart is what it is, and nothing will change that, but the action of the rest of the muscles in the body, is what greatly impacts the effectiveness of circulation — particularly to those axes (joints) actually moved.
Otherwise, the heart has no idea where to prioritize that flow of blood and nutrients — but more importantly, it is those contractions of the skeletal muscles — that account for the propulsion of the blood and other fluids (inflammation, edema, lymphedema, lipedema, etc) back towards the heart — while creating space for the new to enter by virtue of the always working heart.
But for grossly misinformed people to think that all one is trying to accomplish in exercise is to work the heart infinitely harder, is the reason they are more likely to cause the heart to fail completely, rather than achieve the much more intelligent objective of using the entire musculature of the body to optimize the flow — and not just require the heart to work infinitely harder as the prescription for a longer and healthy life.
That is particularly the problem of the dementias — that the heart and lungs continue to function for many years after the circulation to the brain, hands and feet have ceased to remain vital functioning parts. It is a seriously flawed understanding that does not bode well for prolonged lives in continued good health and functioning — and therefore, all is lost.
Sounds like the science followed him, wearing a hood and carrying a scythe.
These days it’s very hazardous to be young and healthy. I have nothing to worry about in that regard.
