As I understand it, so does virtually any vaccine that uses a dead or weakened virus to trigger an immune response. That includes nearly everything, yes?

They attached the spike protein to the adenovirus. They’ve done the same with the ebola vaccine, some flu vaccines, etc. No mRNA. At least that’s what the claim is.
I figured it had a longer track record. Of course, I have regrets.

Bear n mind the mRNA from the clot shot moves from the injection site and lasts for days, but the liver was done with processing the inoculation in 6 hours.

My Mom got 2 jabs against my wishes. I tried to talk sense into her each time. She died 2 months later of a stroke after the second jab, after telling me “see, I got the shot and I didn’t die”.
I can’t decide whether she was murdered (democide), or had committed suicide. Maybe a combined - Murder/suicide?
I’m Active Duty Army. I thought so at the time. So, to avoid the “FDA Approved” (which it isn’t, long story) mRNA vaccine, I chose the EUA J&J.
I’m a pilot, and I haven’t flown in quite some time due to being medically grounded. Waiting to see if the blood clots relieve. If I get told one more time, “Well, at least you’ll be 100% disabled by the VA!” I’m going to scream.
100% VA disability pay pales in comparison to what my flying career would have made.
It wasn’t suicide if she was misled, i.e. lied to, into believing that the shots were ‘safe and effective’.
That leaves only one choice........................
Same reason I did, and becuase my specialist specifically said to not get the Pfizer or Moderna "vaccines."
I got the J&J shot in April 2021. I will absolutely not be getting any more Covid-19 related shots/boosters/clot-shots. Anyone who's kept up on the mRNA vaccines knows they're poison and killing people world-wide.
I wouldn't get another J&J shot either, were it available. I've had Covid twice, survived both times, confident that when I get it again (as we all will eventually..) I'll survive it just fine then too.

I’m not sure I understand my point either, assuming I had one! I was trying to say that I think the J&J vaccine is high-tech in that uses DNA in a way that is fairly new (although as another poster notes, used now in several other vaccines). So it’s not mRNA but it’s still (as I think I understand it) a gene manipulation deal of sorts. I’m no scientist - purely Bro Science for me.

The J&J Covid-19 vaccine uses a weakened DNA-based human adenovirus as the viral vector and encodes for a variant of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein. The viral vector infects the host cell and travels to the nucleus where genes of the spike protein (artificially inserted into the adenovirus) are expressed. The antibodies to the spike are produced on the host cell surface.
The end result is the same as with the mRNA-based vaccines, trillions of spikes are produced in the body which then induce production of antibodies. But the spike protein itself is toxic, the fatal flaw in this novel technology. These spikes can circulate throughout the body causing inflammation. The spikes can persist in the body for months and cause various adverse reactions.
