As I understand it, so does virtually any vaccine that uses a dead or weakened virus to trigger an immune response. That includes nearly everything, yes?

I'm not sure I understand your point. If you could explain, it would be appreciated.

I’m not sure I understand my point either, assuming I had one! I was trying to say that I think the J&J vaccine is high-tech in that uses DNA in a way that is fairly new (although as another poster notes, used now in several other vaccines). So it’s not mRNA but it’s still (as I think I understand it) a gene manipulation deal of sorts. I’m no scientist - purely Bro Science for me.
