You ever worked with Engineers from China or India or Russia or Pakistan?
They are stubborn morons who can’t function in a team environment. I’ve been on $Billion$ Dollar projects where for diversity’s sake plenty of foreigners were handed roles and almost every single of them were nightmares to work with. Not to mention the HR issues they brought.
These third world nations make junk and it’s because they skip multiple steps in the engineering, design, and production process. Quantity is never quality.
Communication and the ability to do it effectively with strong leadership is not something they are known for.
BRICS won’t last, it’s a facade.

I have worked with Indian engineers. Well at least they were from India but were naturalized Americans. Never really had any problems with them.
One of my bosses was from Taiwan. He was a veterinarian, DVM and PhD. We loved him, he stood up against management who wanted to alter data to say something it didn’t.
When we saw him do that he earned a boatload of respect from others in the department.
No Russians or Pakistanis. Never worked with them.

If War comes—many of the Brick states will join with the Axis of Russia/China/Iran Not us. Only our stupidity could bring China and India onto the same team, and get Iran and Saudi Arabia together! Who will fight for us? NATO? Maybe? Canada? I should hope? Mexico? We are isolating ourselves and setting us up for a defeat in WW III. Wait till the War Crimes trial will judge Obama, Biden, Trump, Bush, and hang them all like Saddam.
They aided it by trading with Red China primarily, and declaring the Monroe Doctrine to be dead. Sounds more like they were beating their own country into submission to world communism.
Be nice to see all those Third World beggar countries lining up at someone else’s door for a change.

How many of them would be competent?
Our HR department was riddled with complaints from Indians with accusations against....other Indians as they brought their caste system with them to work here state-side. It created a living hell.
Individually some Indians are great people and awesome to work with, but get a few of those who feel like they need to bring in their pride with them based on where they stacked up in the old country and it’s insane.
Koreans are an interesting group also. Lovely people with good work ethic, but the die-hard mentality about “The Corporation” and “Mr Leader” (CEO/President type position) makes me laugh and cry at the same time. I know a guy who was fired because he didn’t follow the unwritten Korean rule of turning in his vacation to the company and actually took time off.
I’ll save you the Russian and Pakistani stories.
I feel like Brazil/Mexico/Chile have more to offer in the Engineering Department than India/Russia/China - but YMMV.

I've worked with Russians. They were competent and hard-working. They were, after all, not dumping their efforts into a communist situation. They were also very funny with a very dark and fatalistic sense of humor.

I had always wondered why an actual living entity, as I supposed the wild beast to be, could NEED an “image”. Until I realized an AI is just code until it’s given a face.

Yep. That is truly the only way we reverse the direction of this nation. Let it all crash and burn. When a majority of the population is living in poverty, can’t heat their homes, feed their kids or find a job and the dollar worthless, people will finally wake up or perish.
