This statement is simply fact. No one is so ignorant they can’t understand it. So anyone who denies it is simply a liar.
I’ve already explained that the Ukrainians were going to try to cut them off by blowing either a bridge or dam - I think it’s a bridge. But the destruction of the bridge would likely involve needless civilian deaths and hardship.
So, the Russians withdrew and plan to return with a full contingent and deployment of weapons.
I believed in the Red Wave, I believed Russia was winning and Ukraine on the ropes—Looks like I was wrong again. Ukraine is winning and Russia, a hobbled giant unable to do anything right. Unfortunately, this type of thinking has caught on because Biden has the Presidency. The simpletons among us think in simple tribal terms, assuming that because the Democrats—who historically have been in bed with Russia (remember how Obama—whose mentor was likely under control by the KGB— mocked Romney for saying Russia was our number one enemy?)—are suddenly anti-Russia, that therefore we have to be PRO-Russia.
That said, this Russian conflict has been good in that, for the first time ever, I’ve seen liberals online opposing not just Russia, but China, North Korea, even Iran and the Obama era deals. The only exception are the hard left communists, who are all Pro-Russia.
It’s funny to see Liberals suddenly become more patriotic while so-called conservatives have been becoming more anti-American.
