I don’t buy any of that. Putler had 20 years to “rebuild” it and we see what it amounted to. RuSSian graft and corruption will never go away, and their technologically backward society will never keep up.
Not to mention the total lack of will of the Russian people and soldiers to actually mobilize and fight a strong enemy.
The occupants of Crimea are now cut off from Mother Russia and in a mad panic. And there is no “land bridge”.

If so, it is with the assistance of the moderators here. Starting with the Covid threads and now into those concerning the Uke, the level of personal insults and invectives leading to flame wars hijacking those threads have reduced my participation.

I wonder how they managed to get off the bridge before the explosion??
Possible another vehicle picked them up.
Big explosion de-spanned the bridge so it is out of commission for a long time.
