The following is for informational purposes only. Take it with a grain of salt. You are reading it on the internet after all. Also, I wanted to document it, so I thought this would be as good a place as any.
There seems to be another Covid-like disease going around our area. I just spent almost a week in the hospital with a toddler family member and now I have it. Rhinovirus is what they are calling it. One nurse called it “rhinorona.” This one seems to affect children the hardest. I predict shutdowns after the election and another non-vaccine “vaccine” waiting in the wings. “It’s for the children.”
Symptoms include everything. It is different every day.
Day 1: Sore throat. Day 2: Sore throat, fatigue, fever, SPO2 on a home monitor of 89-90. Day 3: Sore throat, fatigue, fever, dry cough, SPO2 87-90. Day 4: Severe sinus pain, almost searing, in the forehead, migrating down to lower jaw pain by the end of the day. Accompanied by swelling of the gums. Dry cough. SPO2 87-92 Day 5: Woke up this morning with a productive cough and no sinus pain but still lots of fatigue. Still low o2. Hopefully almost done.
I have not been tested for Covid, but everyone that has that I know has tested negative repeatedly. Toddler tested positive for rhinovirus/enterovirus but also had a severe infection requiring hospitalization and IV antibiotics.
“Rhinorrhea” is the medical term for a runny nose.
You betcha. I know the difference.
Schools Open-
Lots of “New Folks”
Gonna be all kinds of bugs floating around the new few months.
Wash the toys-
Wash the car door handles-
Vit D, C Zinc-
Wash your hands
Don’t pick your nose
Don’t put your willy anywhere your Daddy warned you about.
Don’t **** with those boys your Mama warned you about.
Rock On
Probably all good advice. We have been doing the Vitamin C, D, and Zinc since close to the beginning of the Covid era. We have gotten lax lately and that’s probably why I’m sick posting today. I’ve got to get better so I can go back to work! I hope this thing lets go over the weekend.
Quercetin is really good too, especially with zinc.
Anytime I’ve had sinus issues it wipes it out fast
Is this what Mitt Romney has?
A lot of Republicans have it.
Anytime someone starts with a bad sore throat, I also think they should take a strep test just to rule it out. My kids had something similar to what you’re describing a few weeks ago, CoVid tests were negative, strep came back positive. Both are allergic to penicillin so had to take a different antibiotic.
I use saline nasal drops and Vicks vapoRub for the nostrils. Zinc and quercitin has already been mentioned. RhinoVirus is bad but HippoVirus is worse (or so I’ve been told).
I have a son who did 11 days in ICU with rhino/entero a few months ago. Depending on your health it can be quite serious. My wife stayed with him the entire time he was there, got it and felt like crap for 4 or 5 days but made it. I went home in the evenings and didn’t get it despite getting sneezed and coughed on multiple times (he requires frequent suction). I’ve been on the FLCCC protocol minus the ivermectin which I hold in reserve in case I get the bug. B, C, D, K2, quercetin, and lysine is my daily vitamin regimen along with ubiquinol and fish oil. Wife is single jabbed (took her a while to figure it out), son is double jabbed + boosted (extremely high risk), and I am not jabbed.
I think there were a total of 6 kids in ICU at the time for rhino/entero. We had a nurse and doc tell us they had it and had also had covid and if they had their choice, they’d rather have covid.
To be precise, it's not "THE" virus, its a group of hundreds of them (identified) and likely quite a few not yet nailed down. Plus there are a batch of "common cold" coronaviruses aside from COVID-19, and other unknown and unclassified "cold" viruses.
I must admit I've never heard the term "Rhinorrhea”, though!
Chestal seems to take care of our family’s sinus/colds. It has a children’s formula too.

I hope there aren’t shutdowns, rhino/entero are not new, we’ve been in and out of the hospital with it for over a decade with our son. It hits the most vulnerable the hardest. For the rest of us it’s like a bad flu.
And Zinc, forgot that on the list of supplements
My entire family has some sort of similar bug, but all our symptoms vary a bit. That could be age / immunity(s) related. Me - late 60’s, wifey, early 50’s, daughter, late teens. But it kicked off a rare asthma episode for my daughter (she’s mostly grown out of that.) Had to get new refills for her nebulizer and inhaler. (She doing well now.)
Strep was negative. That was what the doctors initially thought. They were surprised on the first ER visit that it was not. They were all over the place, even considered Lyme disease. The persistent and recurring fever of 106+ had them scrambling. This was my daughter by the way. She is home now and feeling better. Praise the Lord.
I went grocery shopping today and noticed a number of people wearing masks. It’s been a while since I’ve seen that...
I have to wonder...if this happened to you in 2019...would there had been this concern?
