Fellow FReepers, I'm asking you if you have taken or know someone who has taken Shark Cartilage as part of Cancer therapy, and if so, what sort of cancer, which brand, and what the results were.
I'm digging into this for a friend whose mother is currently Stage 4, but has been fighting metastatic ovarian cancer for a couple of years now. Please share your knowledge whether your findings were good or bad.
Thanks!
That was a big deal in the early and mid-90s wasn’t it?
Still is, in some circles.
Go to nih.gov and type in Invermectin and cancer.
I am not aware of any cancer benefit from shark cartilage.
There are other things that could help, with black or green tea apparently having some positive effects.
Unfortunately, there is a direct correlation between the level of fear and the number of hucksters profiting from the fear.
Ovarian cancer is one of the worst right up there with pancreatic cancer!! Very sorry to hear this about your friend!! One of the reasons ovarian cancers are so bad is because they go undetected for long periods of time!! I will PRAY for your friend’s mom!! You stated she has been fighting for a long period of time she is blessed she has had this extended period of time ovarian is a nasty cancer!!
A lot of people have had success with Fenbendazole for cancer. They often use a version made for animals.
Here is a blog with details from the guy who discovered its use for cancer: https://www.mycancerstory.rocks/single-post/my-story-part-1-start-here
Fenbendazole, like Ivermectin, is used both for cancer and as a dewormer.
I had testicular cancer some 25 years ago. I took shark cartilage. My doctor told me that it wouldn’t hurt, and might help. Obviously, I’ve survived, and have 4 kids. Maybe it helped. Honestly not sure. Worth a shot. It can’t hurt, and may help.

There are likely a number of other studies on supplements beyond what I just dug up, so don't give up hope.
Look up Fisetin.
Yes, and it was preceded by laitril, copper bracelets, and chewing on yew needles—none of which worked at all. At least the shark cartilage remove sharks from the oceans.
Thank you!
Thanks!
Thank you!
I’m happy to share my experience, newby.
;-)
More a retread than a newby, but thanks.
I don’t know anyone who has experience with it. Supposedly it has anti-angiogenesis activity(stops development of new blood vessels). Tumors will stimulate new blood vessels so they can be fed by the body.
There are few studies on the absorption of the active proteins in shark cartilage. It has shown some activity in animal models of cancer, but no good results with human oral studies.
Clearly, more work needs to be done to demonstrate effectiveness. big problem is that the active ingredients aren’t absorbed well orally or may be broken doan by digestive juices.
Sloan Kettering Memorial Cancer website has decent review.I recommend reading the non professional AND the professional reviews.
There is a lot of suspicion about the motives of big gov and big med and big pharma suppressing info .....but one needs to see what the people with lots of experience say (even if they could be wrong). There are probably cures out there, but the cures need to be demonstrated convincingly. And there may not be enough researchers. They’re too busy figuring out their pronouns nowadays.
Best wishes and prayers for the afflicted.
Thanks!
Hmm.
Have heard some old anectodes regarding shark cartilage, but not for years now. There are a number of other items that may be worth looking at, but all involve more than simply taking a supplement, substance, vitamin, or drug.
The Budwig Protocol is decades old and still being used regularly: https://www.cellectbudwig.com/
The parasite link in many cancers is known, but not generally discussed. See: Hulda Clark, researcher,
“The Cure For All Cancers” and “The Cure for All Diseases”, ($25.00 each, non-copywrited, also pdf available online) which focus greatly upon simple and inexpensive ($50.00 for a 3-week supply) means of parasite eradication and extreme cleaning of the patient’s environment to prevent reinfestation.

. In the sixties, Pauling waged almost single handedly a successful crusade against atmospheric testing of nuclear weapons; warning of the future fallout in the form of genetic diseases, cancers and numerous other serious health problems. His relentless work in this area yielded nuclear test banning treaties among the Soviets, US and other major powers, resulting in a cleaner, safer environment for us all.
, in fact we have direct experimental evidence for it, is that vitamin C is rapidly converted into other substances, oxidation products and these other substances, these oxidation products have been shown to have greater value against cancer than vitamin C itself. So if you take large doses of vitamin C you produce large amounts of these other substances,
I’m not against drugs when they are properly used and have said so over and over again. We advocate for every patient with cancer taking high doses of vitamin C as an adjunct to appropriate conventional therapy and I agree with
