In the past few weeks, I have received numerous inquiries about ten-year Navy veteran William Henry Teele III. After years of quietly providing information to me and other investigators into the July 1996 destruction of TWA Flight 800 off the coast of Long Island, Teele has gone public and is naming names.
I shared some of Teele’s information in my 2016 book, TWA 800: The Crash, The Cover-Up, The Conspiracy. Teele did not claim to be on the ship that fired the missile. He was on the USS Carr, a guided missile frigate that was one of the “combatants” in the battle group that destroyed the unfortunate 747 and killed the 230 souls on board. Everything that I could verify about Teele’s account back then checked out.
In the six years since, Teele has reached out to many of his fellow sailors and fleshed out his account. Although he has appeared on several podcasts in recent weeks, his uninterrupted narrative on the Duke Report is the most compelling. I would welcome those with relevant experience to contact me through my website, cashill.com, to offer your assessment of Teele’s account or to provide additional information. My research suggests Teele is the real deal but I remain open, as all journalists should, to contrary information.
In the way of background, Teele joined the Navy in 1994. In 1996, according to his Navy transcript, he was serving as a “seaman apprentice” receiving advanced training in “specialized Navy occupations.” Teele’s training went well enough that in 1998 he was made an “operations specialist,” one who, “operates radar and associated equipment; identifies and maintains a display (plot) of the movement of ships, aircraft, missiles, and natural objects detected by observing a radar.” In 1999, he was made an instructor...

Oh by all means, believe the CIA and the national media - both are well known for truth telling.
I have worked with many Pan Am and TWA 747 mechanics. Those guys were the specialists with that aircraft. After Flight 800 went down, not one said it was because of “faulty wiring” in the center C-section of the aircraft. As a matter of fact that particular 747 had just come out of a heavy check and was considered to be the best ship in TWAs fleet. One mechanic I worked with stated he had a family member , who was in FBI, assigned to the crash. When questioned about incident it was all hush hush!!! These guys were very adamant about the aircraft not going down because of a catastrophic maintenance issue!!!! Many eyewitness accounts say the same, on how a flare appeared to be going from the water to the sky…. Feds told these people, Nah, it was the flames going down to the earth!!!! I for believe it was shot down. Another government coverup we will probably never hear the truth. I could continue, but what’s the point?
I told what I knew about this many years ago. Got trashed for it here. Won’t bother again. Some people have a hard time accepting that there are indeed people that know more than they do.
If they would shoot down an airliner and cover it up, they would try to frame a President who sided with the citizens and the rule of law.
Worked with a former Squid who said at the time, that this looked like an accident on a known training range.
If the FBI and the CIA were involved, you can be assured the cause was NOT what they said.

I can’t believe that anyone in the Central Intelligence Agency would lie.

I thought they showed on a news report shortly after incident radar of the plane and something appearing to hit it?
I remember a couple from Long Island who were having a party on their patio on the night the plane went down. Somebody had taken a picture of the couple with the night sky in the background but you could clearly see a bright orange trail behind the plane. They showed the picture on the Today show. IIRC, immediately after that segment, FBI showed up and confiscated their picture.
I hope the people at least got a new inground pool or something as a payoff.

My memory may be faulty. I got out of the Navy 30 years before Teele joined and promotions may have changed drastically since then, but as I recall we entered boot camp as SR. On completion of boot camp we became SA and after just 6 months in grade, we were eligible to attain SN.
Two years as a SA does not seem like proficient advancement to me. However, as I said, my info is dated.
OF COURSE TWA800 was shot down. Even the great Rush cowered on this, and chose to believe Kallstrom.

Faulty wiring and fuel tank explosions are bogus, as are underseat terrorist bombs.
I've seen this stuff before.
I absolutely remember Dan Rather interviewing live the person in charge of El Al Airlines in NYC about this matter. That guy clearly said that they received intelligence that their aircraft was targeted, so they cancelled that flight.
And then he said “flight 800 took off in its place”.

In no way am I saying that the story we were fed by the government is true. I’m just looking at the bona fides of this witness being offered by the author
Not an expert. I read his first book. I am a believer.
