Lose a STONE (14 pounds) in three months by eating all your meals between 7am and 3pm, says study

You can lose up to a stone in three months by eating all your meals between 7am and 3pm, a study suggests.

Obese adults who ate within an eight-hour window lost 14lbs (6.3kg) in 14 weeks, on average, compared to 9lbs (4kg) in a control group who ate when they wanted.

Both cohorts were given expert advice on how to follow a diet and what foods to eat, and put on the same exercise regime.

It suggests limiting the amount of time we spend eating limits the amount of calories we consume by default, according to the researchers.

Fasted people in the study were found to consume the equivalent of a Mars bar less food per day compared to the non-fasted group.

Intermittent fasting has been a trendy diet plan favoured by Hollywood stars like Jennifer Aniston, Benedict Cumberbatch and Nicole Kidman for years.

As well as weight loss, the practice has been linked to longevity and a reduced risk of age-related diseases.

I am getting ready to do the Whole30 diet. If you have psoriasis or immune disorders you should take a look at it.

If you don't...just keep in mind the concept of "Food Without Brakes." Many people have them. Then try to curb it.

btw, my Food Without Brakes is salty crunchy chips.

Could care less about sweets. And low and behold..I have a genome study that gives me a trait of salty snacks.

Been on intermittent fasting for 6 years. I have psoriasis. I’ve done 7 days water fast and it helps but it’s more of a stress induced condition from my experience.

IF works for me because I was a wrestler and used to not eating to cut weight. But there are a lot of studies out their that say IF doesn’t help lose weight more than eating less.

A true waterfast puts you in ketosis. That’s the real deal. IF fakes it and just makes you eat fewer calories.

Whatever works for anybody is good. Just don’t get insulin resistant.

My glucose is better and I have lost weight but I’m not eating anything differently in 4 hours than I used to eat in 3 meals.

Sounds like something experts would come up with.

Intermittent fasting? Don't bet on it.

I do it all the time and will confess that it is possible to still overeat before 3:00 pm.

It makes it easier to use Keto in conjunction with intermittent fasting. Keto helps kill the appetite.

No need to do anything differently in the UK now with their troubles and travails. Losing weight will come automatically with the empty shelves, hospitals filled with vaxxed Covids, mandates, quarantines, and useless government transportation meddling the resulting national starvation will bring.

Some people have had good luck with eating blueberries every day. Some do 20. Some take 40.

You might try that since they are in season

It hasn’t done much for me except lessen the burning but I don’t have it all over my body. I am only on week two of trying it.

My dad always gained a little weight in winter and simply switched to two meals a day.

All his life, he had a salad as an evening snack. No soda. No other snacks.

I tried the blueberries. Thanks. We must read the same site. Didn’t do much for me.

Mine is definitely stress related. Working on that.

Actually mine was much worse until I lost 30lbs.

Did that on a water fast. Won $10k.

I came across it from some UK guy who says it helped him. then other people tried it. He says he didnt have to stop eating nightshades. Others have to stop eating nightshades.

I think on that same site is where I saw someone claim the only thing that helped him was the Whole30 diet which is where I got the idea to try it.

I am looking to see if it reduces autoimmune pain for me as it has done for so many others

A wrestler is the equivalent of a pool hustler when it comes to losing weight.

I also had blood work done and it was less than ideal. Did a 7 day water fast and the doctor couldn’t believe the difference. He asked me what I did. This was actually about two weeks after my water fast.

I said “clean living”. He was bemused and said keep it up.

If you tell a Dr. you drank water and nothing else for a week he’d tell you that was horrible and unhealthy. Then he’d tell you to get vaxxed. LoL.

and here is something else..when trying to get ready for this diet I was kind of shocked how hard it is to find items. Yes, I knew there were a lot of processed ingredient foods but WOW..it is tough.

ALthough, the paleo/keto trend does make it easier to find things.

But then the whole30 concept is to get you away from your Food Without Breaks. So even though you can find tortillas that are compliant Siete Brand...you aren’t suppose to use them..

But I probably will for the first time I try this

When you eat, eat slowly. Make it last twice as long as normal. You feel full with less food that way.

It typically takes about 20 minutes for your body to get the "full" feeling after you eat. This means that anything you eat before that is extra.
