Tucker Carlson’s latest on ‘green’ energy is mandatory viewing

With the examples of Sri Lanka and Ghana already before us, Tucker spells out exactly where the Biden administration’s policies are taking us.
When Congress—the people’s representatives—had the chance to vote on the Green New Deal, it emphatically said “no.” Were we still a functioning representative democracy, that would be the end of the Green New Deal until such time as We the People elect (God forbid) a majority of Senators and House members who want that legislation. The unconstitutional leftist model since FDR, though, has been for the executive branch to do what Congress refuses to do and, sadly, Chief Justice Roberts’s spineless opinion in West Virginia v. EPA has done nothing to limit that lawless power.
We now have a situation in which Biden has unchallenged and outsized executive powers and the EPA has unlimited regulatory power (both of which, I can assure you, were never meant to control America’s entire energy supply). The result is that the Democrats are relentlessly clamping down on our available energy supplies.
SNIP
Tucker Carlson understands all this: He understands all nation’s needs for energy, he understands that solar and wind power cannot serve a modern nation’s needs, and he understands that the leftists are lying and cheating to circumvent the constitutional limitations on despotism. I often say that something Tucker did is a “must-see” because it so perfectly (and often amusingly) encapsulates an issue. This time, I’m telling you that Carlson’s latest monologue is a must-see because it’s a warning bell. If we ignore it, frankly, we’re doomed. I want him to be a prophet with honor in his own country, rather than a Cassandra, futilely warning a doomed nation about its elites’ disastrous policies.

“I don’t need Carlson to tell me what I already know.”
Since most of us are not quite the rare specimen you are, he does. Could you, for example, alert the nation with a hour long broadcast of the real goings on during Jan. 6?
“I don’t need him to validate what I think.”
Most of us, I assume, don’t watch Carlson to validate what we think. I have noticed, however, that he thinks a lot like I do.
“What I need him to do is use his talent, his resources to obtain factual information that I can’t.”
Since he has an extensive network of sources, he obtains factual information I can’t.

Did you ever watch Rush’s TV show? It was great. I wish he would have brought it back.

What I need him to do is use his talent, his resources to obtain factual information that I can’t. And since he refuses to do that, I no longer watch him.
Have you written him and brought up your concerns, and asked why he appears to avoid particular topics?

There’s a correlation between high ESG scores and third world shi*hole status. Who established a mandate for ESG scores and who gave them the authority to do so? For that matter, why should companies on the stock exchange kowtow to "Diversity, Inclusion & Equity" when those do nothing to advance marketability, competition-driven improvement and meritorious profit?
I think we should never have accepted "credit scores" when they started that scheme.

The environmental movement is the new home of Marxists, world wide. These people are watermelons - green on the outside, but red on the inside. They don’t give a damn about the environment. The environment is merely a front to hide their real agenda - to transform countries from free market capitalism (which they hate) to Marxist based socialism/communism. Conservative analysts and commentators need to understand this and start informing their audiences.

I'm referring to Tucker the individual. The answer may or may not be other than the expected; but you won't know without asking.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/betsyatkins/2020/06/08/demystifying-esgits-history--current-status/ ESG issues were first mentioned in the 2006 United Nation’s Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) report consisting of the Freshfield Report and “Who Cares Wins.” ESG criteria was, for the first time, required to be incorporated in the financial evaluations of companies. This effort was focused on further developing sustainable investments. At the time, 63 investment companies composed of asset owners, asset managers and service providers signed with $6.5 trillion in assets under management (AUM) incorporating ESG issues. As of June 2019, there are 2450 signatories representing over $80 trillion in AUM.

Appears to mostly be the big asset managers and investors. Blackrock, Vanguard, and to a lesser degree, State Street. I'm not sure how it relates to profit. I suppose by killing off or buying out small and mid sized companies that don't score well. Blackrock is also buying up properties including single family homes. With the economy tanking, young people will have to rent instead of buy so Blackrock may become the largest landlord in the world through property management companies.
You'll own nothing and be happy. Everything will be leased/rented is what that's about, all the way down to small kitchen appliances that you only use occasionally. Rent online, a drone delivers it and then schedule pickup when done with it. There's a lot of talks about this. Need to go somewhere? Ride an e-bike, walk, take a bus or call the autonomous auto rental service.
Think of sharecropping. You're provided with everything you need but it takes up everything you make.

It's not the only talk on this subject.
Take a look at food. Cows bad, field farming bad. Poor ESG score. This article is a little alarmist/conspiracist but the Vertical Farming it documents is real. https://www.coreysdigs.com/global/new-controlled-food-system-is-now-in-place-and-they-will-stop-at-nothing-to-accelerate-their-control/
Vertical Farming, no fertilizer getting into groundwater. Uses a fraction of the water and nutrients. ESG score good. Cultured meat will be the same. Bug protein - ESG score good. Say goodbye to traditional farming and foods. All of these new food systems involve patented tech. Vertical farms use gene-edited, patented plants. Cultured meat will use proprietary formulas and patented processes/machinery. Monsanto took over corn seed like that. Now, 90% of all corn grown is Monsanto's patented GMO corn.
It's all a transfer of money and ownership upwards to mega corporations and tech industry.
competition-driven improvement and meritorious profit
Tech and power driven growth and nefarious profit.

During an extensive opening monologue on Tuesday evening, Fox News host Tucker Carlson walked through the origin of the modern American push for a transformation in the U.S. energy system; as outlined in the Green New Deal advocacy of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and how Joe Biden is implementing the agenda by executive fiat.
The Green New Deal is domestically to the U.S. as the Build Back Better agenda is to the rest of the western nations who follow the instructions from the World Economic Forum. Collectively the economies of western government are starting to collapse as the underlying energy policies (climate change) are being implemented.
Carlson walks through several examples of countries who have tried and failed to switch from oil, gas and coal to the “green renewable” energy programs. Everything from farming to home heating is now under attack by the governmental energy policies of western nations. Civil society is starting to collapse in according to the schedule of the nations who have tried to transition. Perhaps the worst part about it, is that western politicians -like Joe Biden- do not care how much damage is done, they are doing it anyway. WATCH:
Something has to change, and soon. As a nation we are going to self-destruct if we do not stop this mad effort to use windmills and solar energy as alternative power sources to oil, coal and natural gas. Already there are signs that states like Texas are bordering on an energy crisis because there is not enough wind to power their windmills.
From the complete restructuring of farming under the guise of climate change (the intentional shift to eating bugs and lab-grown meat), to the complete collapse of stable energy as a result of chasing climate change goals, we are fast approaching the point of no easy return.
We are not going to like the civil unrest and national instability that comes along with public desperation.
