With the examples of Sri Lanka and Ghana already before us, Tucker spells out exactly where the Biden administration’s policies are taking us.
When Congress—the people’s representatives—had the chance to vote on the Green New Deal, it emphatically said “no.” Were we still a functioning representative democracy, that would be the end of the Green New Deal until such time as We the People elect (God forbid) a majority of Senators and House members who want that legislation. The unconstitutional leftist model since FDR, though, has been for the executive branch to do what Congress refuses to do and, sadly, Chief Justice Roberts’s spineless opinion in West Virginia v. EPA has done nothing to limit that lawless power.
We now have a situation in which Biden has unchallenged and outsized executive powers and the EPA has unlimited regulatory power (both of which, I can assure you, were never meant to control America’s entire energy supply). The result is that the Democrats are relentlessly clamping down on our available energy supplies.
SNIP
Tucker Carlson understands all this: He understands all nation’s needs for energy, he understands that solar and wind power cannot serve a modern nation’s needs, and he understands that the leftists are lying and cheating to circumvent the constitutional limitations on despotism. I often say that something Tucker did is a “must-see” because it so perfectly (and often amusingly) encapsulates an issue. This time, I’m telling you that Carlson’s latest monologue is a must-see because it’s a warning bell. If we ignore it, frankly, we’re doomed. I want him to be a prophet with honor in his own country, rather than a Cassandra, futilely warning a doomed nation about its elites’ disastrous policies.

Maybe the Dutch can achieve similar success.

Roberts is the Romney of the SC.
I wonder if Russia has wind generators or Solar arrays?
I’m waiting for demorats to propose wind generation in space.
The left has been wreaking havoc on various nations for decades and no one is ever held accountable. A bunch of feel good BS that they are trying desperately to bring here.
Years ago they destroy both Rhodesia & S Africa.
You already knew about the “green energy” disaster in Ghana did you?
I've been to Ghana and still didn't even know that.
I did actually.
But then I read African media.
If that makes me a rare bird around here, I’m sorry to hear that.
Quote: “ When was the last time Carlson told us something we didn’t already know...?”
When was the last time anyone in the media did? That is the thing, Tucker is saying out loud, clearly and with wit and ridicule directed toward the Left what few others are saying. He is over target and effective which is why the Left is so desperately trying to silence him.
Coming to a state near you.

Like the Netherlands, they’re going the route of Nitrogen/Phosphorous getting into groundwater and limiting it based on soil type and proximity to watersheds.

I knew about Sri Lanka but not Ghana.
I don’t need Carlson to tell me what I already know.
I don’t need him to validate what I think.
What I need him to do is use his talent, his resources to obtain factual information that I can’t.
And since he refuses to do that, I no longer watch him.
Or FNC.
And since I even begrudge FNC the carriage fees, I cut the cord.
If I may, two suggestions...
Get at least some of your news, even international news, from local sources.
And since most media is enemedia, look for what isn’t stated, what isn’t asked...
Sometimes what’s spiked or ignored can inform, too.
When was the last time Carlson told us something we didn’t already know...?

WE may know it, but the masses do not, and things need to be said publicly, which Tucker does where nobody else will.
Or, should we just all tune in to your podcast?
I live in rural Missouri. Local news is about very local stuff. Half the newspaper is high school sports game stuff.
Your personal choice and one I don’t begrudge you.
But for me, I appreciate it when someone gathers the information in one spot and makes a clear and concise argument on a forum I don’t have access to. Could I make that argument myself? Yes. Do I have that soapbox? No, but Tucker does and he uses it effectively. The price he pays is whackos showing up at his house.
As for someone telling me something I don’t know, I think Tucker’s work on the January 6th fiasco has been pretty good. It so angered Wallace that he left the network.
I read the Tucker threads on FR because if the situation were to change, I’d be happy to watch him again.
But he hasn’t informed me for years.
And I won’t spend my time and money watching him until it does.
Once again a brilliant limited hangout by Tucker.
It’s just those stupid liberals. Certainly not a coordinated and orchestrated global famine in process.
