NIH posted studies also show it can dissolve the enamel off of peoples teeth, and that it is also associated with esophageal damage. The biggest factor being the concentration of the solution. Purex bleach works better. Make sure it is not extra strength or gel based. Put about a capful in a 8 oz glass of water, swish your mouth out once a week. It will leave a foul taste, so I rinse out my mouth after with water, then Listerine.
