I liked Gottfried. He was always getting in trouble for making politically insensitive and inappropriate jokes which was when he was at his best. You pick it, Me Too, race, ethnicity, homosexuality and he was always picking at it.

I first noticed Gottfried when he and Rhonda Shear hosted USA UP! All Night. It featured B movies that were so bad they were actually funny. The hosts made jokes during the breaks. Oh, I definitely remember Rhonda Shear.
