Various branches of the U.S. military, long steeped in tradition, are now making changes… to accommodate wokeness.
For example, the U.S. Marine Corps is altering its uniform regulations. The erstwhile “Leathernecks” are introducing new maternity clothes for pregnant Marines. Other changes include an allowance of increased hair length, the edging up of one's hairline, and additional manicure options for female Marines. I guess this shouldn’t be too surprising since even the Navy SEALS have gone woke.
First Lt. Phillip Parker, a spokesman for the Marine Corps Training and Education Command, recently told the Marine Corps Times the changes are intended to help "positively impact diversity, equity and inclusion.”
Inclusion? In the Marines? Is this a good idea? Would femininity have aided the Devil Dogs on Bataan or Corregidor in WWII? Should people of all genders, ages and physical fitness levels be welcomed into the Corps? Should diversity, equity and inclusion trump combat readiness and effectiveness and the ability to protect and aide your fellow Marine —and, if necessary—carry him off the battlefield…dead or alive?

I think this slogan was originally presented as "diversity, inclusion and equity”. But then people noticed that the social cost of DIE was a little too obvious.

in the name of equity and repairing past exclusionist practices.....any military effort should require females and transgenders be the first in line to fight any enemy. got some catching up to do. So if there is ever a house to house recon like in Iraq, send the women in first. IT’S THEIR TIME

a very sad article....for those of us who did serve in the United States’ armed forces, this is really disheartening....wearing your uniform and looking sharp was a sign of pride....today, there is a different “pride” I guess......
The first thing our next CiC should do would be fire the entire general officer staff. Install the field manuals and regs in place in 1968.

I missed that point about the pins. Frankly anyone wearing some pin other then the flag should be shot. Sorry if the a holes running the country’s military don’t agree but uniform means exactly that. Someone wants to wear some BLM or fag crap they are not in uniform and rather in a uniform of a separate system. Icons have meaning just like stolen elections.
...I agree 100 per cent.....I remember when I was active Duty U.S. Navy, the uniform regulations regarding hair were modified so black sailors could wear so-called “Afro”-styled haircuts...what an absurd decision that was...their “dixie cup” white hats sitting on top of what was basically a ball of hair.....again, pandering to a vocal minority....
