Drinking two or three cups of coffee every day may benefit the heart, according to studies being presented at the American College of Cardiology's 71st Annual Scientific Session.
The American College of Cardiology said Thursday that consumption of the caffeinated beverage is associated with a lower risk of heart disease and dangerous heart rhythms, as well as a longer lifespan.
The trends also remained true for those with and without cardiovascular disease, with researchers saying the analyses assure that coffee is not linked to new or worsening heart disease.

Drinking more than one cup of coffee a day would make me lose a lot of weight because I would be throwing up constantly. (Coffee often makes me puke-y.)
Another “could be healthy” study about coffee. Research, come up with final results and be done with it. Geez.
The body cannot live without water, as it is required to make coffee!
The only thing consistent is government funded studies of pointless things.
I have a heart that’s very healthy then
I do love me some Kona Volcanic Estate Hawaiian Coffee, every morning.
Past few years doctors always tell me to not drink coffee (caffeine.) Once again, there is a discrepancy in medical suggestions and studies. It happens on a regular basis. I am not referring to covid either.

If you suffer from Atrial Fibrillation, the most common type of heart arrhythmia, that is bad advice to follow.
So is it the caffeine that supposedly makes coffee “healthy” or something else in it? If is the Caffeine, then why not include tea in the health statement?
Sounds more like the coffee company’s paid for the study!!!
Nice to see Starbuck’s doing science...
Oh boy. Back and forth with the coffee studies. People pretend they studied the recent stuff they pushed to this extent. Maybe. But no.
Cool, I’m on my third cup.
Seems like only just a few short years ago that they were telling us that coffee is poison and was going to be the death of all who partook…
yeah…. trust the “science”…
Now, if they’ll just find something that’s good for you in a jelly doughnut, I’m set to live forever.
I should be good to go then.
This appears to be another population study with no ability to separate cause from effect. Does the result mean that coffee makes people healthier, or does the result mean that healthier people are able to drink coffee?
We don’t know, do we?
Are those 4oz cups or 40oz cups?
