Mind-blowing video reveals how Chinese rocket crashed into moon three days ago

An unruly chunk of rocket debris is thought to have crashed into the moon.

Astronomers believe that the rocket piece, which experts have said originated in China, hit the lunar surface in the early hours of March 4.

We won’t know that it hit the moon for sure until two satellites that orbit the moon pass over the possible impact site.

These satellites could photograph any crater that resulted from the collision

The rocket was heading for a collision with the dark side of the moon so “live” coverage of the event wasn’t possible.

However, experts have now created a physics-based simulation video showing how the crash likely happened.

The video was posted to YouTube by AGI, An Ansys Company.

The caption simply explains: “Alternative wide view of the Chang’e booster impact with the Moon (sic) on March 4th, 2022.”

The rocket part was first spotted by Bill Gray, who writes the popular Project Pluto software to track near-Earth objects.

He reported that the junk was a SpaceX Falcon 9 upper stage launched from Florida by Elon Musk’s team in February 2015.

There is no dark side of the moon, really.

Matter of fact, it's all dark.

Thats OK Jack.
Another example, this war going on is the out and out lies from the MSM. I spend some time and sort through and catch some of the free lance reporting and watch them.

Takes a hell of a lot of sorting out though, I will tell you that.

I didn’t watch the video.
I read the article or extract.
Didn’t blow my mind.
I should have gone for brain freeze instead.
Would have been more enjoyable.

So a satellite launch managed to have enough excess thrust to break orbit and hit the moon....

Sorry. Not buying it. That isn’t an oopsie. That was intentional

You are right. Could be a sneaky way for the CHICOMS to claim rights for the Lunar salvage yard consotium.

Did it ring like a bell after it hit?

That would be nice to hear if it did. Scientists do have equipment monitoring the Moon to detect ringing. It will be interesting to find out the truth if it is hollow, once SpaceX lands there and begins drilling tunnels.

All that empty space out there and bam, right into the Moon. Sounds like Belgian driving.

What was it doing way the heck up there 238,000 miles?

The entire story is whacked out. I think someone just delivered something to the Moon. I’d like to know the odds of this dead rocket crash into the Moon happening by accident.

Sic transit gloria mundi.

Apparently these geniouses [sic] don't know that our moon's name is the Moon...

I wonder if there are any mountains on the moon that are higher than Mount Everest?

Many would already know this but just in case, the “dark” side of the Moon is a mistaken reference to the portion of the Moon that faces away from the earth at all times, as the Moon is locked into an orbit where it rotates once every month (where month is given its more precise meaning, the period required for the moon to orbit around the earth). That period is 29.53 days (heliocentric perspective). Just about half of the Moon’s surface is never visible from earth. We had no idea what it looked like until the space age, and it is somewhat less dominated by lunar maria.

Both sides of the Moon get equal amounts of sunlight and darkness, as one could guess from the phases of the moon that we see on “our” side. At new moon, an observer a little closer to the Sun and in a direct line from earth to the Sun would see a full moon and a fully illuminated earth. They might even see a dark spot on the earth’s cloud systems if there was a total eclipse of the Sun underway.
