Nobody likes to bring a dictator bad news so Putin probably wasn’t informed people felt this way.

Dictators do isolate themselves. It's as stupid as breathing from a paper bag pressed to your face. Pretty soon you aren't thinking straight at all.

On top of everything between Russia and China, I have to believe that Putin should be reminded of the “alliance” between Hitler and Stalin during WWII. As soon as Hitler perceived he had an advantage over Stalin, that alliance was torn up and German troops advanced into Russia. If Putin believes he can trust Xi to have his back, he’s a fool. Russia’s oil fields would be an easier objective than America’s natural resources...at least in the short term.

Or a combination of both.

For an invasion to be successful, the entire military structure, as well as, the people must be supportive of the effort. That does not seem to be the case with Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

I must admit that Ukraine's response has been somewhat unexpected, but bravo for them. 🙂

I think Zelensky's (other spellings Zelenskiy & Zelenskyy) response when offered a ride out of Ukraine really rallied the citizens to stand tall. 🙂

Correct. Also they still can’t do so.

Amphibious landings are hard. Amphibious landings without complete air and naval superiority are impossible. China is at least a decade away from being able to do so.

On The Beach.

IIRC, the surviving stragglers end up in New Zealand, where our “Betters” are currently hoping to ride out the storm...

I don’t know why you don’t see Washington as being on Russia’s side in all of this. Everything the Biden administration has done has been to create this situation for Russia.

I don’t believe almost anything out of the “press” and that includes supposed Russian protests, and certainly not any hope that they will accomplish more than the Canadians.

“supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemy’s resistance without fighting.”

Excellent post.

The Russians want to decapitate the Ukraine with as little fighting as possible.

That is why comments about how poorly the Russians are performing in the battlefield miss the big picture.

Russia could turn Ukraine into a smoldering ruin from a distance if they wanted to do so.

They are fighting a “limited war”, trying to cause the minimal damage possible while getting a puppet installed as the new “President”.

They will succeed in their final objective—the only question is how many folks are killed and injured (both sides) before it is done.

China’s lesson may be exactly the opposite of what folks here are thinking.

China may conclude that Taiwan cannot be “decapitated” intact and they may have to use overkill.

“China is probably rethinking their plans to invade Taiwan this year.”

I was just telling a friend this. China is rethinking if they will invade Taiwan. If Russia were successful, they would have invaded Taiwan already.

We will have to wait and see. I do think if a major war starts in Europe, China will go ahead and makes its move.

- It is beyond fishy to me that Ukraine was the locus of so many Democrat/cabal shenanigans. And now here we suddenly are.

- It is beyond fishy to me that this appears to have just cropped up in the last couple months.

- It is beyond fishy to me that the cabal appears to have forced Putin’s hand, and now is pearl clutching.

- It appears that pretty much everyone that just waged biowarfare on the world’s population has taken a side, and it is Ukraine’s.

I have no idea what all this means. But it should not be interpreted as I’m a Putin fan.

I don’t even know what we’re doing right now, couldn’t even intelligently guess what the Assho’s going to do.

I’m still waiting for the liberal media to start calling it “Xianggang”, which is the Mandarin name

And then the media will gaslight us and tell us that they're using the historically correct version that's more inclusive to all who live there...or something like that.

“They will continue to infiltrate democratic institutions and eventually take over with all the valuable infrastructure and industry intact.”

Good point: China’s hundred year plan.

Russia is invading to prevent Ukraine from developing their newly found huge gas reserves west of the Donbas region and offshore west of the Crimea up into western Ukraine. They are set to become the second largest producer of gas in Europe and grab a huge percentage of Russia’s gas business in Europe and TO OWN AND SELL THE GAS through their State run businesses.

I'm going with Seven Days In May.

Mother Russia needs a rogue general right now...

Ok, that wasn't a happy ending for the general. I guess I'll scan youtube for some fresh Hitler Learns videos.

Taiwan: Buy anti tank missiles. Can never have enough. Cheaper than buying ships, subs and fighter planes.

the Chinese internet, for the most part, is pro-Russia, pro-war and pro-Putin.”

More to the point, china is anti-American. And yet they own our government, industries, and media, which is why they were able to launch biological warfare against us with no repercussions.

China is winning a very real war against the West using the Sun Tzu playbook, while not just dopey Joe, but the deep state handlers are strategizing using Vogue magazine.
