Hard to say what’s in the old codgers brain, but I think that if Russia invades Belarus and Ukraine, a lot of people will get called up to go to Poland, the Baltics and eastern europe. It doesn’t mean we will be defending Ukraine though.

No chance. Biden knows he can barely manage remembering to put his pants on in the morning. He doesn’t want a war that would be wildly unpopular and he would have use words to argue for.
Dems and neocons are just trying to keep the new Russian Cold War going so they can keep funding the industrial war complex and keep the ruse of “Russia bad, Trump bad!” going a little longer.
Putin will do nothing and a Nobel peace prize will be awarded to Biden. The media will swoon. Democrats will celebrate. Hopefully not everyone will buy it.
