In researching the Judge in the Sussmann Prosecution by Durham, I came across one of the Deep Staters saying how close Justice John Roberts is to Merrick Garland.
Was the last time someone recused themself in DC - Jeff Sessions?
JEFFRESS: He has personal relationships with many of the other justices. And I think that will serve him very well when we is on the court.”
BANFIELD: “And a personal relationship with Justice John Roberts, the chief justice which is pretty critical as well.

I don't care who he's friends with I care how he decides.
Well look at how Roberts has been deciding.
If you had someone who was friends with Hitler, Pol Pot, or Biden, or a psycho tranny would you care?
“Well look at how Roberts has been deciding.”
TOUCHE. BINGO. You win the prize.
Yes, and it’s weird. He had a good track record before he was on the Court. The Dems filibustered him, not Alito. He’s turned bad on the big decisions, not so much the others.
.
But we’re not talking about two peers.
AG sets the policy and determines the Prosecutions.
He’s ruling for/against his friend, in effect.
Strzok was at a cocktail party for a FISA Judge wanting to subtlety tell him that’s it’s important to have FISA approved (to get Trump).
.
“I don’t care who he’s friends with I care how he decides.”
I agree. And, with Scalia, one could be assured he would be guided by the Constitution, and nothing but the Constitution and the laws derivative therefrom — if those laws comported to the Constitution. With Roberts, however, I have no confidence such integrity is in him.
Can Garland shut down Durham?
Im shocked, shocked I tell you!
Hard to explain. He had a really good track record before he was nominated him. The Dems were really angry about him.
“Close personal friends.”
I wonder if Roberts is the man or the girl in the friendship.
I'm quite sure Garland can just ignore any indictment that comes his way.
There is nothing new about USSC Justices doing 180s once appointed. They are no longer required to please anyone.
.
The answer is Yes.
Garland can redirect him, defund him, require weekly updates, tell him to go in another direction, etc. The DoJ ( Garland) can also decide his findings should not be made Public.
I think we’re going to find Garland has been asking for status updates.
Durham can write a report saying he was directed away from Investigating the FBi, but Garland can hide that report for many years.
.
Damn! That is sickening.
.
The Dem choices are all loyal Dem activists

“Hard to explain. He had a really good track record before he was nominated him. The Dems were really angry about him.”
Yeah, I was doing cartwheels when he was nominated and confirmed. And with the Heller decision I felt confident that Roberts was a Constitutionalist. Then, of course, there was his inexplicable ObamaCare ruling, which confirmed he was a phony, and a “made judge.”
On 180s, it only seems to apply to justices nominated by Republicans (Going back to the 50s). Has a Democrat-nominated one ever done a 180?
