Michael Sheen's ex-partner just ripped on the coolest flag in the world

We showcased to you our beautiful, fairytale surroundings, showed you sheep, that you loved, taught you how to swear in Welsh, gave you a hot and talented actor boyfriend and you turn around and take the mick out of the best flag in the world?

The Marry Me and Space Jam star released a clip of her latest podcast episode and revealed that she had been contacted by a listener from Wales, which she was really happy to hear.

She might have lost that one Welsh listener, perhaps, with what came next... she told her listeners that she'd wind up her ex, Michael Sheen, with her views on the Welsh flag.

"He would get so mad because he's such a proud Welshman," she says. "And Wales is ****** beautiful, but, I don't know if you've ever seen the Welsh flag but it makes me laugh so hard. It honestly looks like a drawing that a 12-year-old boy drew on the cover of his Mead notebook."

How do you feel about these comments? Tell us in the comments section.

Following that up with an impression lots of 12-year-old boys might take issue with, she then urged viewers to look at the flag.

Y Ddraig Goch...the red dragon. It's a much a cultural identity as haggis and IRN BRU in Scotland.

I have friends and distant relatives living in Wales. My family originally lived in Llanfihangel-y-Creuddyn and Ysbyty Ystwyth. Additional connections in Ystrad Meurig and Aberystwyth. Distant relatives at Pontrhydygroes. My friends in Cwmystwyth surprised me on a visit to the National Library of Wales. They found the original document from 1852 where my great grandfather and his sisters were adopted by a member of the family in Llanfihangel-y-Creuddyn when their mother died of TB. My great grandfather was 10 at the time. He worked in the lead mines at Ysbyty Ystwyth by day and tended sheep when he was too big for the mines. He emigrated to the US in 1863 by signing on as ship's company in Liverpool. Shortly after arrival, he joined the Union Army and off to the front. Two years in a Confederate POW camp soon followed.

I have a 3rd cousin and his family who live in Porthcawl, Wales. It's a lovely town located on the southwest coast of the country.

("Porth" means "harbour" in Welsh, "cawl" refers to a sea grass rife in this part of the Atlantic Ocean).

Porthcawl is noted for its string of beautiful beaches, attracting tourists from all over the world.

My cuz has an interesting and well-paying profession....he breeds, raises and trains service dogs used by English bobbies (police) on their rounds.

I'll have to contact him to find out if it is now "racist" and "inhumanitarian" to use police dogs by the bobbies as they fight crime in London and elsewhere in the cities and hamlets of the "Sceptred Isle" (especially because British bobbies patrol the streets unarmed).

If police dogs are now forbidden because they are "racist", my cousin will have to find a new profession !

My last Ancestry estimate of ethnicity: 30% Wales, 27% Scotland, 24% England/Northwestern Europe, 8% Ireland, 7% Norway, 3% Sweden & Denmark, 1% Finland. I suspect some Viking visitors left genetics on a visit to Scotland/Wales/Ireland.

Great history. All I know is that there is an Owen Owens on my Mother’s side of the family.

Henry Tudor flew that flag at the Battle of Bosworth.

My paternal grandmother did a great deal of family history work. She was an active member of the Mayflower Society and DAR. My wife and I have extended the family history back into the 1400s. The Welsh side is documented perfectly to 1777. I'm literally going have to spend a few weeks in Llanfihangel-y-Creuddyn cleaning up the cemetery to take it much further. The family surname is on headstones into the 1400s, but I have documentation gaps. Fortunately, I can read Welsh just fine. That proved useful when I found the great great grandparents marriage record in 1833. That finished the tie back to 1777. Microfiche takes a little practice to handle at the library.

If you want to pursue the family records, the GENUKI site has information and references to people in the UK that can help track down records if it is too difficult to visit in person. The National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth has huge archives. Many of the parish records that resided in individual church buildings have been rounded up and recorded on microfiche at the National Library.

Indeed. And the hilarious thing with wretched snots like her — they blow their stacks if they get even a FRACTION of what they dish out.

If Wales works it right they could be for Game of Thrones what New Zealand is for The Hobbit. True, it wasn't filmed there, but they do have the dragons.

There are 1000+ yrs of history behind that flag and the ancient story that spawned it.

It’s time the Right starts to CANCEL the anti-American members of the left. Run them out of society, which is what they’re trying to do to us.

find any advertisers that support either her or her work and harass them. let them know as long as she is connected with them, you will not buy their product/service.

80m+ Americans avoiding a business will hurt. a lot.

#21 Hopefully her ex boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel who cheated on his wife to be with her is scratching himself all over every day since.

“She’s a WALKING STD PETRI DISH, IMO. I wouldn’t touch her with a 10 foot pole.”
