The NFL loves to ‘recycle’ team names whenever possible.

Some of the current team names are ‘recycled’ names: Cowboys, Giants, Texans, Titans, Browns, Buccaneers, Colts.

Actually, Commander is a Navy rank and is one rank below Captain. There are five levels of Admiral above Captain. In the Army, the equivalent rank to a Commander is a Lt. Colonel.
