Research by the Center for Countering Digital Hate, a campaign group, showed that Mercola’s newsletters made a minimum of $1m a year from charging subscribers an annual fee of $50, with Berenson making at least $1.2m from charging people $60. Three other vaccine sceptic newsletters, from tech entrepreneur Steven Kirsch, virologist Robert Malone and anonymous writer Eugyppius, generate about $300,000 between them.
Imran Ahmed, chief executive of CCDH, said companies like Substack were under “no obligation” to amplify vaccine scepticism and make money from it. “They could just say no. This isn’t about freedom; this is about profiting from lies … Substack should immediately stop profiting from medical misinformation that can seriously harm readers.”

I hate this “your side” and “our side” dreck. If I say something, I am speaking for myself unless I specifically mention a fellow FReeper. But I will point out that I’ve seen plenty of vicious comments come from vax-pushers. Playing victim doesn’t promote any sort of diplomacy, y’know.

You seemed to take that stance with “your people” — which seems to be a “your people” vs “our people” stance. If you did not mean it that way, good.
If you want to be taken as speaking only for yourself, I completely understand. That’s as it should be. But why not extend the same courtesy to others? Why the “your people”? I have never, ever wished anyone ill here.
I’m hardly playing victim. I already stated the name calling and ridiculous accusations roll right off me. And I’ve never once gone crying to JimRob or Admin Mod or tried to get anyone zotted.
