President Biden comfortably won the Hispanic vote in 2020 by 59 percent, according to the Pew Research Center. Yet a Quinnipiac Poll this month showed Biden’s job approval rating among Hispanics plummeted to just 28 percent. So, what happened? It’s important to know because defection of a once reliable voting bloc could signal disaster for the Democratic Party in this year’s midterm elections and, possibly, loss of majority control in the House and Senate. From my perspective as an immigrant from Nicaragua, combined with analysis of reliable polls, what happened seems clear. First, Hispanic voters care about the same things as most everyone else, despite contrary narratives on TV. The economy and health care consistently rank at the top of their concerns, especially given COVID-19. They’re not happy....Second, despite the straw man arguments in the media that bind the Latino vote to immigration and equate border security with racism, polls don’t back them up. A September 2020 Pew Research poll on top election issues among Hispanics ranked immigration eighth in importance. Even more conflicting, most U.S. Hispanics’ views on immigration are opposite of what we often hear on TV. As this month’s Quinnipiac Poll shows, Hispanics gave Biden just a 23 percent approval rating on immigration, down from 49 percent last May.

Considering how the Hispanics have historically voted, the 59% that Joe Biden won in 2020 should have been a warning sign, that the critical crossover point is fast approaching, and the Hispanic vote is well on the way to becoming a majority Republican conservative vote.
Given the fact that this bloc is also growing much faster than any other segment of demographics, Democrat Socialists have much to fear.

Like that absurd poll showing an upward trend in approval of Biden overall of all categories of voters. Nonsense.
What event, speech, photo op or policy triumph would have caused such a trend? Why would some who thought he was declining mentally suddenly say "but now I think he's getting sharper and smarter every day."
I admit saying "$4,000 per person government checks are going out to all next week" would cause a swing upward.

won’t happen cause hispanics don’t vote in a large bloc like blacks do. We like to vote and think for ourselves a tad more than the black community does.

There’s an articulate Hispanic in my city in Georgia who is running for mayor. She’s solid conservative, pro-small business, Christian, ex-New Yorker. Met a Hispanic guy on the bus was a construction worker who helped build homes for the Trumps 20 years ago.
The other population I’m encouraged by is the Mormons. Brother living in Utah says the local Republicans want to kick Romney out. They appreciate the fact that Trump was not ordinary politician — he achieved REAL RESULTS.
And the Mormons are good in the raising lots of babies department. All power to them. They will grow up to support common sense policies and none of the Progressive nonsense.

Obviously, Paul Ryan’s strategy of “reaching out” to Hispanics is now working—15 years later!! LOL. Let’s be clear: Trump’s pro-America, pro-worker policies are very attractive to blue collar and upwardly mobile Hispanics—they already agreed with conservatives on social issues.

How did DJT command such a quantity of Hispanic voters? He gave them opportunities. Something they’ve seen little of.
Many had the intellect to make the right choice: opportunity over “free stuff”.
Like the home builder, they prefer a solid foundation on which to build their family. Just like the rest of us.
