If you're hitting the grocery store to prepare for winter weather, please just buy what you need and leave some for others!
You may have noticed empty shelves in some stores due to national supply chain issues, but there is no need to buy more than you normally would.
Fred Meyer in north Spokane at Wandermere is selling the Top Ramen for $1 for four...only beef though....
I guess it’s really long lasting for storage food; and all you have to do is throw in an egg or two, and maybe some greens if you have them, to make a decent meal in hard times.
I’ve used them often over the past couple of years when I needed something quick and easy. My Korean friends taught me to break and egg in and stir it around - and today we met a Hispanic man in the store who does the same thing.
A sprinkling of cayenne and a drop or two of toasted sesame oil helps, too.
If they are seriously posting this crap, then I think we all need to be hoarding more.
Now you know A-1 is better ;)
D.C. running out of food seems a promising development.
lol...perfect.
Generic person??? But...looks like guy to me
Man bun is throwing me off.
Yesterday I placed a package of a dozen waffles that cost a euro in my cart and noticed there was only one package left so I grabbed that one too.
My parents made a comment to me a few weeks ago about the amount of food that I have in my house. I told them, “I remember what it was like when I lived in Virginia and we had a hurricane. The shelves were empty and the store looked like it had been bombed. There was no food in the store”. People on the coast, at least when I lived there, seem to buy things for 2 or 3 days and do not prepare for worst case scenarios. maybe that was military personnel. Hard winners in Indiana have taught me to make sure you have plenty of food just in case.
Out of curiosity, why freeze the pasta for 10 days? Does that kill weasel eggs?

“But seriously, is this supposed to be a man or a woman?”

Could be a lizard. Or, a row boat.
Depends on what it pretends to be...I think. At least that’s what my grand kids learned from school.
Another house well supplied with ice cream: The Speaker’s House. Haven’t eaten it all as yet, Nancy?
I was curious about this also. I’m kinda missing the idea behind needing to freeze dried goods.
My favorite bit of cosmic justice in Dr. Zhivago is when the young idealist turned murderer ends up being shot by other “comrades” for his perceived “impurity.”
That is how communism always goes. The original revolutionaries are later lined up and shot. There is no tolerance among evil communist fanatics.
There are endless purges on the Left.
I don’t remember Bowser putting out this same announcement at the start of COVID, when people were hoggin all the TP\Purell\wet wipes etc...
How cool would it be if Washington DC stores were totally empty?
That’s the magic of movies. Julie Christie goes through a long and bloody revolution looking stunning from beginning to end, and never aging a day.
