Researchers analyzing insurance claims data estimate that U.S. insurers have paid tens of millions of dollars for ivermectin as a covid-19 treatment, despite little good evidence that ivermectin does anything to treat or prevent the viral illness. During a single week in August 2021, private and Medicare insurance plans forked over about $2.5 million for covid-related prescriptions of ivermectin, according to the new study, published Thursday in JAMA.
Ivermectin is a cheap and effective antiparasitic that’s been in wide use for around 40 years. At the start of the pandemic, it was one of many existing drugs to receive a second look as a possible antiviral treatment for covid-19, based on early lab results. During the past two years, however, the field of covid-related research on ivermectin has been riddled with poor quality data and allegations of widespread fraud. There are still important ongoing studies of ivermectin for covid-19, but the largest and likely most rigorous trials to date have found no clear benefit for the drug in either treating or preventing covid-19.
This lack of solid evidence hasn’t stopped ivermectin from being adopted as the covid treatment of choice by some people and doctors. These devotees tend to be politically right-wing and espouse unsupported claims about the dangers of vaccines. They’re also, strangely enough, often dismissive about the pandemic, downplaying its harms even as they stock up on drugs like ivermectin to seemingly stay safe.

I’m sticking to FLCCC.NET, they got us through it just fine. If you are relying on the vaccine you might check their latest info, it appears the omicron mutations to the spike protein render the vaccines practically worthless, and no, I’m not anti-vac or pro-vac, I’m make your own choice.

Heard a report this morning that parents are pushing back on Ivy League mandates for students to get boosted in order to return to campus, citing concerns about myocarditis. Studies on myocarditis resulting from covid shots have been out there for how long (at least 14 months)?

BTW the 127 million they estimated was spent on Ivermectin is not even noise level considering we have spent trillions on this disease.

A really valuable political effort would be to ask our Congresscritters (especially the 100 reported to use Ivermectin) to pass law to require NIH to spend a useful precent of its money distributed for studies to be spent on effectivenss of Ivermectin, HCQ and other IONOPHORES used in combination with such items as Vitamin C, Vitamin D, zinc, and other vitamins, minerals and herbal supplements. There has been a systematic effort over the years to minimize use of Vitamin C. Linus Paulings institute has faced pressure to publicize favorable use of Vitamin C LESS. Dr. Robert Cathcart’s 10,000 reported favorable treatments with Vitamin C have been dismissed as “anectodal reports.” Still no serious efforts to validate or disprove his successes. The same goes for a number of other potential low cost treatments.
Meanwhile the Big Pharma CEOs and others receive benefits in the amount of $20million a year. How about a law that companies cannot DEDUCT more than $1 million a year for salaries from their income taxes. Let the stockholders decide if these guys are really worth $20 million a year.
We have to get people to read the section on Ivermectin’s history against Covid in India in Robert Kennedy’s book “The Real Dr. Fauci”, and especially the difference in deaths between them and us, including what happened when they switched from Ivermectin to vaccine, then back from vaccines to Ivermectin. The pattern of outright lies from Fauci, Gates, and the entire medical complex that are financially beholden to them, along with the media that are their lapdogs, is utterly horrifying.
Mass murder on a monstrous scale, and all for money and power.

Amazing that this Kennedy exposee of Fauci and Gates collusion has made the best seller list with NO major media mention or discussion. It has been reported that major book stores are only given a few copies of this book while other establishment books get dozens. It is also available from Amazon as a Kindle version. Last price I saw was $2.99. Ask the White House why Fauci is still their major health propagandist, tell the WH to read the book.
