LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Four inmates at a northwest Arkansas jail sued the facility and its doctor Thursday after they said were unknowingly prescribed ivermectin to treat Covid-19 despite health officials’ warnings that the anti-parasitic drug shouldn’t be used for that purpose.
The American Civil Liberties Union of Arkansas filed the lawsuit in federal court on behalf of the detainees against the Washington County jail, Washington County Sheriff Tim Helder and Dr. Robert Karas. Helder in August revealed that ivermectin had been prescribed to inmates to treat their Covid-19.

I do not disagree with you. Especially now that omicron has delivered what I believe you have said before people hospitalized with COVID not because of it. 95% or so of COVID by waste analysis is omicron. I still am seeing an occasional delta but this is clearly a pandemic ender.
I believe I have always advocated people should have a choice. But this is what actual science looks like. The conditions on the ground has changed. So we react by changing our recommendations and how we handle i it. Exactly the opposite of fauci who is agenda instead of science driven.
I have said nothing inaccurate. They are approved fully at present. They were given EUA approval. This is different than off label use.

This is an example of the Government’s misinformation and policies coming back to bit them in the a$$. I hope they sue the $hit out of the government. It will be a easy case to win! After all the government has spend 2 years telling everyone that this drug will not work on COVID and is dangerous! A couple of US funded studies, a few CNN video clips and you could rest the case. The government would have to fold because if they even try to say the drug is safe and works on COVID..... well horse paste game over!

No. I do not agree. There is authorization but not formal “FDA approval” excepting in the case of Comirnaty, and the FDA specifically notes it and the “mRNA” experimentals are “legally different.” The confusion between the use of the word “approval” is a matter of how and when it is used.

No. A legal complaint is not proof, but allegation, and this is allegation before litigation has determined an outcome.

I agree that the FDA has opined that, and in the moment it stands, against medical research in opposition to it. I also further observe that the FDA often overturns its own judgments. I further observe that there are precious few drugs that the FDA bans from use off-label, a fact you surely know.

ACLU: American Communist Liberal Union. The inmates are fortunate they were not given normal covid protocol drugs, which either could have made things worse for them, health-wise, killed them, or ruined their livers. They should be thanking, instead of complaining.
Let’s cut to the chase: #1 - Do you believe in the USA there is any place in this country where a person can get a “vaccination” with a NON-EUA vaccine?? In other words every person now getting “vaccinated” is signing a form that states the injection is under EUA! #2 There are MILLIONS of people who, under duress, have taken the EUA vaccination so as to not lose their job! 100% there are millions of people who are being vaccinated “unwillingly” and under coercion! Yes, they are signing a form stating they are doing it “willingly” but they are doing it with a “gun to their head.” There are no FULLY APPROVED - NON EUA vaccines available in the USA, are there? If there are please be kind enough to let Freepers know where they are available!

There are a group of people whose eyes have not been blinded. The group that cannot see go with passion in their darkness. It’s good to be in the light! I like to save people’s time so they don’t have to type too many words - just an “I agree.”

I responded to gas_dr cordially by answering questions straight out, and asked one question in return. No answer forthcoming as of about a half hour into the exchange. Two minutes for a reply to you. A half hour and no reply to me. Hmm.

There are currently NO FULLY APPROVED vaccines available in the USA!
I believe the CV19 vaccine administration program in the world is a compulsive and fear oriented program. People are indeed “voluntarily” signing RELEASE of LIABILITY forms and “willingly” getting injected.
I have no knowledge of the complainants knowledge.
If a fully licensed doctor chooses to administer a drug - ANY DRUG - based upon his/her knowledge and based upon peer reviewed or other scientific data to attempt to cure a sickness then I believe your statement to be incorrect. Ivermectins effectiveness in treating CV19 is no longer a mystery. Scientific data exists on its usefulness in treating CV19 and I believe based upon that data doctors are authorized to use it in the treatment of individuals.

Not too big of a stretch to use a defense of,
it is a prison, lice, scabies, fleas etc. so the treatment was given as a wide use therapeutic for many possible maladies.
