The U.S. Supreme Court tomorrow will hold oral arguments on whether to allow the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ and Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s vaccine mandates to go into effect while appeals are heard in the courts of appeals. Sean Marotta, a partner at Hogan Lovells and AHA outside counsel, will be providing real-time analysis of the oral arguments, which will begin at 10 a.m. ET. See a preview blog here breaking down the legal issues confronting the Court and what to look for when the Justices hear the oral arguments. Visit AHA’s webpage tomorrow at 10 a.m. ET to see the real-time analysis. In addition, watch for a longer analysis piece tomorrow afternoon, as well as a podcast with Marotta and Chad Golder, AHA deputy general counsel.

Biden already undermined his own argument. As bad as the Supreme Court is, I find it hard to believe they’d ever uphold his mandate.
Sorry, “The game ain’t over until it’s over.”—Yogi Berra.
After years of “The SCOTUS can’t possibly allow this....”
Ahem. Obamacare “tax.”
I am of the opinion that the federal government is limited to enumerated powers - ONLY. If the Constitution or Bill of Rights or Amendment does not authorize a power, then the 10th amendment is supreme and the power is relegated to the States.
The tyrants may have screwed up. They should have charged for the “vaccines.” That would have guaranteed that Roberts would declare the vaccine mandate a “tax” and rule that it was constitutional on that basis.
The U.S. Supreme Court of wishy-washy
Screw OSHA - my company just got a fed contract and now I’m under the stupid executive order
There are folks expecting them to uphold their end of the bribes...
It doesn’t work against the current variant.
You can catch and spread it even if you got shot 3 times.
Science is totally silent on the long term effects, because no long term testing was done.
AWESOME LET’S MANDATE IT FOR EVERYONE!
THIS court?
I have no problem believing they would.
Anything the dread traitor Roberts has had his slime over, has been allowed. This shouldn’t surprise anyone
The multiplication of overlords since this “novel” cold came about has been both confusing and maddening. I’m sure other adjectives apply, none of them laudative.
I believe the case the tyrants like to cite is that MA case that went in front of Scotus that allowed the state government of MA to mandate a vaccine.
I think it would be just fine if Scotus left up the mandates to the states. I really wouldn’t mind if some if the looney blue state governors pushed through a tough no exception mandate.
Federal overreach plus blue state tyranny requires that those in red states nullify the Feds actions. Call it healthcare sanctuary states.
If Scotus does allow this I’m doubtful that enough states would resist.
That was stayed too.
My company is going ahead with Feb 9 OSHA garbage. I was just asked to review the draft of the announcement.
Funny, since the “Science” is changing so rapidly, the OSHA requirements (one of which is “follow the CDC guidelines if exposed to the virus”) are now in conflict with CDC’s new recommendations on what to do when exposed to the virus.
5-4 we lose. Three libs plus two compromised “conservatives” (adopted kids)
It will be postponed. Snow day.
Mr. Muslim, I insist that you eat this delicious piece of roast pork.
Around here you can’t help to have been exposed.
I think we need 6 or 66 weeks to slow the spread.
OK Supremes. Tell us the American government can mandate a failed vaccine, that has killed and maimed thousands of people, for a disease with a 99.9% survival rate.
Additionally, the political vaccine cult has caused variant spikes, divisive government overreaches and irrational fear.
