We are in the midst of an ongoing demographic crisis—not enough people are having enough babies to sustain the necessary population growth—and it looks like it's getting a whole lot worse:
US population growth at lowest rate in pandemic's 1st year U.S. population growth dipped to its lowest rate since the nation’s founding during the first year of the pandemic
U.S. population growth dipped to its lowest rate since the nation's founding during the first year of the pandemic as the coronavirus curtailed immigration, delayed pregnancies and killed hundreds of thousands of U.S. residents, according to figures released Tuesday.
The United States grew by only 0.1%, with only an additional 392,665 added to the U.S. population, from July 2020 to July 2021, according to population estimates released by the U.S. Census Bureau.
Just in case you think that whole "since the nation's founding" rhetoric is no more than a bit of journalistic flourish, it's literally the position of the U.S. government:
According to the U.S. Census Bureau's Vintage 2021 national and state population estimates and components of change released today, the population of the United States grew in the past year by 392,665, or 0.1%, the lowest rate since the nation's founding.
This is not good for a whole lot of reasons, but the most pressing among them is that, if you don't have enough babies today, you're simply not going to have enough people years from now to prop up the society you've built: Not enough workers, not enough taxpayers, not enough men and women around to keep the engine of civilization running efficiently.
That sounds like a sort of cold nuts-and-bolts calculus. It kind of is. Having babies and raising children is doubtlessly first and foremost a deeply personal matter between a husband and a wife. But it also has profound societal implications beyond that of individual families. Ignoring these is folly.
Right now there's more or less enough people to keep things going. In twenty or thirty years? We may be looking at a significantly different picture.
Intentional and part of a plan.
Are they counting illegals and get-aways?
Of course, they ignore the millions of undocumented voters.
This smells like a narrative for boosting immigration rates for undesirable foreigners.
I just heard that CBP apprehended 300,000+ illegals in the last couple of months, so there are obviously some holes in this report. IMHO they are just trying to justify opening the border even more.
Intentional and part of a plan.
The Great Replacement is alive and well. It has two parts: 1, Americans aren’t reproducing fast enough. 2, the democrats are importing fertile replacements for the old Whiteys.
I have news for the dems. When the headchoppers become the majority, the atheist dems will be the first ones to experience Head Removal Syndrome.
My theory is that the Baby Boom that occurred after WWII was largely due to a sense of confidence, economic and physical safety and a hugely successful middle class. As part of that generation, I noticed that people who had large homes and lots of space had larger families than those living with lesser means and smaller houses.
As this translates into the lower birthrates today...All of the conditions I noticed as a Boomer are the exact opposite today. Real wages have not increased. This isn’t because people are earning less money. It’s because of inflation. No sane couple are going to have children if they don’t feel secure financially and physically. (Would you send your white kid to a public school? If not, how the heck are you going to educate him?)
Bring back cheap gas *Trump*, cheap houses and cheap electricity...steady jobs *Trump* and you’ll have another baby boom.
In 1960 when we had the same land we have now the US population was 179M and all was well. The decline mostly impairs ponzi schemes like Social Security.
After the revolution, and the hangings, maybe.
But I'm getting too old anyway.
Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!
How many Seniors are no longer on the Medicare Rolls? Cuomo can give you the numbers for NYS.

I have been watching the series on the Fall of civilizations. watch them all to understand the history of them and where we are.........................
I think this would be even more scary if we saw the demographic data on which subgroups are growing and which are shrinking.
When you got women thinking they are men, men thinking they are women, and the youth becoming homosexually, what do you expect.
Only heterosexuals can reproduce.
You and I must live in the same town.
Add to this the fact that 42% of births that are occurring are single-mother births, with an immediate net drain on society due to an ever-increasing demand for government support and it is obvious the collapse has already occurred but we haven’t seen the full effects yet.
