Most of the Western world has transferred its manufacturing sectors to China. Every single day, Chinese container ships ply the world’s oceans, fanning out to every continent except, maybe, for Antarctica. We’ve long known that those ships are carrying cheap goods and the West’s economic destruction, but The Sun is contending that those same ships are likely to be disguised missile launchers.
Here’s the main part of the story, although you should visit The Sun to read the whole thing:
CHINA has been secretly developing Trojan Horse-style missiles hidden in shipping containers that can be unleashed on enemy ports, experts warn.
Military analysts believe the country’s huge fleet of freighters and fishing vessels could be turned into warships with the use of the secretive container missiles.
Disguised as a regular shipping containers, they can be sneaked on board a vessel to blend in seamlessly with the hundreds of others on board.

Joe Biden Is China’s Choice For President

Unlike many other Democrats, he takes its side, reliably.
The Democratic Party has always been weak on national security when it comes to China. But some credit is due when it comes to China’s atrocious human-rights record and its theft of American jobs. For a generation, prominent Democrats loudly criticized Beijing on these fronts, well before Donald Trump helped form a new national consensus on China. Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi have been longstanding China trade hawks, for instance. Even a socialist like Bernie Sanders has been a reliable critic.
And Joe Biden? Well, he’s on China’s side — not yours.
Despite the occasional box-checking, wishy-washy comment slapping Beijing on the wrist for the worst of its abuses, the reality is that the former vice president’s support of the People’s Republic of China is deep and longstanding. In the critical fight over whether to grant most-favored-nation trade status and World Trade Organization membership to China in the 1990s — a fight in which, again, many of his party’s leaders in Congress were on the right side — Biden carefully shepherded China through the process from his powerful perch as the senior Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
Wherever a brake might have been applied — by placing human-rights or labor conditions on most-favored-nation status, for example — Biden voted the measures down and lobbied other senators for Beijing. Unfortunately, China and Biden got their way, and American workers are still suffering from it.
It should have been a warning on more fronts than one when President Obama recruited Biden to his ticket to buttress his credibility on foreign policy; unsurprisingly, there was no about-face on Beijing.
As the Chinese Communist Party gained strength and Xi Jinping seized absolute power, Biden continued to push for closer ties and even more trade. As for American workers?
In February 2012, in friendly remarks with Xi standing next to him, Biden praised Beijing as a “new partner” that would help to meet “global challenges,” and said Americans “welcome this competition. . . . It pushes our companies to develop better products and services and our government to craft better policies.” Millions of American jobs were disappearing as he spoke, and the militarization of the South China Sea was just around the corner.
While warmer ties with China were devastating American workers and threatening our national security, they have been very good for the Biden family. Reporters thought it unusual when Hunter Biden, Biden’s prodigal son, accompanied him on a trip to Beijing in 2013.
That same year, Hunter joined the board of a Shanghai-based private equity firm. In 2017, a few months after his father left office, he invested a substantial chunk of his own money in the company. We don’t know what he’s made off the deal, but I expect Hunter is doing better than laid-off workers in Arkansas or Delaware. Must be nice.
Now Biden’s back on the campaign trail, and no one could be more thrilled than the Chinese Communist Party. (A Forbes headline last year summed up the situation well: “Joe Biden Is the Only Man Who Can Save China in 2020.”)
Biden’s announcement of his campaign alone was enough to encourage Beijing suddenly to take a harder line on trade negotiations with the Trump administration. As Biden’s star seemed to fade, China suddenly got easier to deal with, striking a “Phase 1” deal with us in January. It’s a safe prediction that they are about to take a tougher line again.
Meanwhile, Biden offers gems like these on the campaign trail. From May: “China is going to eat our lunch? Come on, man. They’re not bad folks, folks. But guess what? They’re not competition for us.” And just the next month: “Our workers are literally three times as productive as workers . . . in Asia. So what are we worried about?”
I’ve worked extensively with Democrats on China — with Chuck Schumer on cracking down on Chinese fentanyl trafficking, with Chris Van Hollen and numerous others on Huawei’s threat to the world’s telecommunications infrastructure. I don’t exactly hear Biden hammering on these important issues on the campaign trail.
And when a few weeks ago President Trump acted to impose travel restrictions on China as a consequence of its abysmal handling of the Wuhan coronavirus, Biden was right there and ready to act as Beijing’s lawyer, slamming the policy as “hysterical xenophobia.”
Now, even the New York Times concedes that these measures bought the United States valuable time to prepare for an epidemic.
28 Since 2015, Democrats have claimed hysterically that Donald Trump is a Russian agent. On the other hand, it’s ridiculous to say Biden is a Chinese asset — if he were, his handler would tell him to oppose China here and there to build credibility. But China can count on Joe Biden always to take China’s side.
The competition between the United States and China, strategic and economic, will define the next century for our nation. We will need to be led by presidents for whom there’s no question as to which side they are on.
Globalists following zero tariffs and slave labor made it happen, not the American consumer.
Biden: It’s Okay to Finance China’s Military

Wall Street wants to finance the enemy, and the Biden administration is opening the door wide.
*snip*
The People’s Republic of China is a unified state, so the investment ban should apply not only to companies the Trump administration designated but also to all state-owned enterprises. State enterprises are by no means separate businesses. The divisions among them are artificial, and all are tightly controlled by the Communist Party. Each one of these entities, therefore, is military-linked and Party-controlled.
Moreover, America’s investment ban should apply to privately owned businesses. As President Trump wrote in the preamble to EO13959, “the national strategy of Military-Civil Fusion” means that the party-state compels private companies to support the “military, intelligence, and security apparatuses and aid in their development and modernization.”
As Richard Fisher of the International Assessment and Strategy Center told Gatestone, China’s Military-Civil Fusion means the People’s Liberation Army “has the right to raid any non-military Chinese company for any technology it decides could advance its military strength.”
Money is fungible. Every dollar that goes into a Chinese enterprise, whether state or private, enriches a regime that has declared a “people’s war” on the United States. Therefore, every company should be off-limits to investment from Americans.
The Biden administration is allowing Wall Street to use the cash of “scores of millions, up to 160 million Americans” to “fund ICBMs targeting their families, to fund concentration camps in Xinjiang.” Most Americans will have no idea their retirement and other savings are being used to finance their own destruction.

Joe Biden was also Putin’s choice, contrary to what MSDNC says.
On the container ship thing it’s to destroy our navy as China and Russia do not have blue water capabilities, and it’s to target our aircraft carriers first and our ports second. In fact the crews would abandon ship and launch remotely.
Wonder how long China could continue to feed its military and civilian populations if we and our European allies stopped sending them food stuffs?
OK, here’s where my tinfoil hat conspiracies intersect with reality: Could the COVID/Wu Flu/supply chain backup have been orchestrated to allow the CCP to pre-position missiles in a gambit to make a global political run? Just an early morning thought......and maybe I should go to bed now.
It’s worse then missles in contains! Evil China is placing cheap products made by slave labor into containers and shipping them to the USA to destroy our jobs!
Sherlock has entered the chat...
IIRC, the fleet flagged by the USA is miniscule.
China is destroying the United States without using military force.
Their strategy is so successful, why would they bother about missiles?
And the Free Traitors still refuse to apologize to the American middle class.
The American middle class made it happen.
When you refuse to pay 10% more for Made in the USA you don’t leave the manufacturers much choice.
The bogeyman is us.
===========================================================TThe unions! They make obscene amounts of money but were willing to strike for a nickle more. Holding manufacturers hostage to their demands. Eventually corporations found out it was cheaper and less headaches to travel across the pond.
You speak about "corporations" as if they were naturally occurring and autonomous.
They exist only because of legislation passed by the people's representatives, and they can cease to exist the same way.
There was noting eventual about the move to offshore American manufacturing. Globalists pushed NAFTA, GATT and the WTO and Republican & Democrat voters bought it. An unfair manufacturing environment (slave labor and zero tariffs) was created that rewarded companies who left America and punished those who stayed. We are far, far worse off as a nation having bought into these trade deals.
from the underlying article at The U.S. SUN
::::https://archive.md/eOTGv
The money quote:
A large number Chinese container ships enter US ports on the west and east coast making them well within range of the vast majority of the US fleet.
"If this capability is confirmed, it will require a completely new screening regime for all PRC flagged commercial ships bound for U.S. ports," Fanell said.
The Stockton Center's study concluded that loading weapons on civilian vessels clandestinely could violate international law.
It wrote: "Failure to comply with the law of armed conflict by surreptitiously incorporating merchant vessels into China’s warfighting/war-sustaining effort endangers civilian seafarers and puts all civilian ships at risk that may be operating in the area of hostilities."
No, Biden has nothing to do with the rise of China.
So what happens when some longshoreman inadvertantly unloads the wrong container? The missiles would have to be in the uppermost layer of containers to be in a launch position.
Point is... they couldn’t be doing this with regular container ships and as soon as the created a deterrence patrol with a container ship(s) the USN would pick up on it.
I was referring to destroying the USA without the use of military force.
The offshoring happened first, and over consumers’ protests about shoddy quality.
Troll.
