Thinking we should check in to see how things are going with the vax mandates for jobs.
Specifically, those who don’t want a jab.
Are you in conundrums from this? Possibly losing your job? Forcing you to come up with exemptions, or take testing that’s a big hassle, all so you can stay at work?
What’s happening? How might you deal with it?
In the U.S., even though the media terribly distort the facts, the CDC director has clearly said that the “vaccines” are not preventing infection or viral spread. So given that fact, it is clear that the so-called vaccines are nothing more than therapeutic experimental gene therapies, and there is no basis in science for forcing people to take them.
“I believe in vaccination.”
Same here but only by choice. My niece who was totally against mandated vax, was denied service by her dentist, unless she could provide vax confirmation. She had the vax.
There are free tests available around here, but it is tough to get an open spot or you need to drive into Philly (no way!).
The one test I took was incredibly invasive and upsetting, and I paid $75 for that "privilege".
I had to decided to retire soon, but this was earlier than I had planned and we are scrambling a bit monetarily. My daughter & family live with us, and she has taken a part-time job while I have assumed homeschooling duties. But if she is asked (forced) to take the vax, she will not do it either.
DoD employee. Religious exemption, unknown status. Have to get tested 72 hours prior to going to work. I am 8 months from retirement with 25 years of exemplary service as an Army scientist and operations research analyst. Did 5 years of active duty Army enlisted time. This is really hard, the Army has been my family and my life.

I have that concern, too.
Nobody mentions that as a possibility - neither proponents nor opponents.
Oh, yes, I forgot if I could get a medical exemption!
I have a history of embolism. Plus, for the last 5 years I take tamoxifen, whose prime “side effect” is clots. My actual clot was prior to the breast cancer (from surgery for gut cancer). I have to take aspirin to counter it.
OTOH, why should we be required to get any exemption? The response to this disease is just hysterical. It’s not mostly that big a deal, so there is no way I want a rushed vax for a minor disease.
My wife and son were placed on “inactive” status last week. Technically still employees but not allowed on the premises.
So since you are such a short-timer, will you put up with it?
I don’t blame people for whatever they do. If I was in your shoes I might put up with the testing, not being too long to go. Only being 52, no!
I’m not reading everything - why is it so long?

Oh, BTW, we had a COVID Christmas last year personally! It was just my mom, cousin, and our household - we had all had COVID in Dec and were OK by Christmas, but could be “safe” by only being us! LOL - was a good way to excuse ourselves from going to the in-laws!

I have a whole list of grievances about this hysteria, and the WORST offenders are medical!
Only COVID is important. If you’re sickly with something else, including deadly and debilitating chronic problems - the hell with you if you (gasp) might have sniffles or were next to someone who did! GO AWAY! Oh, and conversely, if you are worried about having COVID and want to get checked - GO AWAY! ONLY Q-TIP TESTING FOR YOU!

Yes, they are tyrants. And after reading about the swabs here, maybe they aren’t such a good idea after all. And I didn’t think you were mad at me. I don’t worry about such things because I know Santa will leave a handful of greenhouse gas causing toxic polluting dirty coal in the stockings of my enemies. So, I’ve got that going for me.
But who’s doing it? Seems many Australians (and Kiwis) are willing to put out that propaganda. They’re probably as desperate as some of us in US are.
It’s true, we need to have the TRUTH. Even if it hurts. Lies will get us nowhere.
But, frankly, never fully trust these government types. In the US they are fully enjoying this power grab. We haven’t gotten yet to gulags and firing squads, but with so many closet commies/traitors amongst us, we must guard against it!
And I had the swab 6x! Once was positive.
I’m a substitute teacher in Illinois and my evil governor mandated that all public school teachers MUST be vaxxed. I sought a religious exemption and the school district granted it. It seems they apparently signed off of any request because theyre short handed as it is already, and can’t afford to lose subs when the regular teacher is out.
Having gotten jabbed long before President Butt-Head imposed his silly mandate, I’m not in danger, but one of my co-workers has resigned, rather than share his jab info with the company.
The real problem we have is the nearly all of persuasive conservative elected representatives in D.C that remain silent. They are waiting for the courts…..and also too early to make this an issue right now. The next election is still a year out.
Forgot to mention she had been going to this dentist for many years.
