That’s actually one of the reasons I want to ignore everything. Make them fire us, and give up much of their work force. Let them suffer.

For me, I probably won’t have much impact, since we are about the most sheepish region around. One of the highest vax rates in the country (yet they keep wearing masks in stores). So, I bet the college only loses a few. But maybe nationwide there will be a mass “sick-out” due to firings!

Re: 79, Re: 80:

Sorry, but there are small group of FReepers that have been pushing some disinformation about Austrialia, and regardless of what you post based on your experiences in Australia.

It’s just part of advancing the narrative for these FReepers. I’m surprised they have not labeled you part of the Aussie deep state for disagreeing with what they post,

Were Trump still in office, would you still hold the same opinion? - considering he slashed the red tape to get these Covid vaccines available as they are now, and that we could expect Progressives would be adamantly anti-vax because Orange Man Bad.

Of course I will put up with the testing; my job is brutal anyway, I led an effort with hundreds of people around the world and worked hundreds of unpaid hours last year, was one of very few people who has to drive into the office every day, deal with no infrastructure since all our support staff are at home (no printers, network issues, etc.), get home late at night and then work from home, sleep a few hours, rinse and repeat... so the inconvenience of the test is nothing to me. I expect to get 50K per year in pension, so I would crawl on broken glass all day if I had to. I am far more worried about getting the religious exemption denied since none have been approved so far.

Redballoon.work is the website for jobs that don’t require the vax.

Not yet, but I work in Florida. I believe my company is just waiting out all the lawsuits.

My employer is waiting on the courts and had not pushed the jab in any way as far as coercion. I will seek a medical/religious exemption if it comes to pass and then let them fire me and file suit.

My wife’s employer had one or two people make the decision to jab everyone making most of the senior administration furious who were not consulted at all so there is dissension in the ranks at the top already. Since the announcement they have made no effort to enforce it. My wife is planning on asking for a religious exemption and to work from home if need be. She did it all through the pandemic in 20 without a drop off in her productivity.

I guess those police checkpoints and man hunts reported by Au$$ie tv news about human rights dissidents escaping from a covid holding camp were just fantasy.

I was so hoping these brave people would make it to a neutral embassy like Sweden’s and ask for political asylum since their own country incarcerates them and then hunts them like animals for not taking an unwanted medical treatment.

Yeah. Your fantasy.

The basic story has some truth - but a huge amount of context is being left out. And calling these people human rights dissidents is ridiculous. They were three dumb kids who got bored.

I was so hoping these brave people would make it to a neutral embassy like Sweden’s and ask for political asylum since their own country incarcerates them and then hunts them like animals for not taking an unwanted medical treatment.

And this just shows how much the context matters, and how much ignorance of that context matters.

First of all, the medical treatment is not unwanted. These people have demanded this treatment - and they have the right to do so. They live in extremely isolated slum communities in the middle of the desert. It is part of an agreement between these people and government that in situations where they require medical treatment they will be taken at government expense to a location where they can receive it. Before this was the norm, the people in these communities just died. They want to continue to live on their ancestral lands and governments have taken action to make that possible.

And the nearest proper consulates or embassies to these people are about two and a half thousand miles away. They are basically in the middle of nowhere and that's important in understanding what is going on. This is a place where there are only twenty intensive care beds in a territory about twice the size of Texas, where about a third of the population is immunocompromised. They cannot afford any significant COVID outbreak - their hospital system would collapse in hours with potentially dire consequences.

I don’t trust government either and I am very actively involved with dealing with the real problems that currently exist in Australia, and have existed throughout the pandemic, caused by government overreach.

But when things get exaggerated, or worse, just made up, it actually makes it harder for us to address the real issues.

Yes, there are some Australians who are helping to spread misinformation. There are various reasons for that. Some of them are just not that well educated, or are ignorant of particular circumstances - for example, there’s a lot of fuss at the moment about an incident in the Northern Territory of Australia - very few Australians, especially those in large cities like Melbourne and Sydney (and Australia is one of the most urbanised countries in the world - we idolise the outback as a culture, but few people live there) understand what conditions are like in that underpopulated desert territory and why things that work elsewhere won’t necessarily work there, meaning they are forced to do things differently. Others are probably deliberately spreading propaganda. I can’t prove it but I think most of this propaganda is coming out of China originally - the Chinese government trying to split Australia from the United States, but also trying to make a democracy seem like it’s the one that violates people’s human rights, rather than China being that type of place (and the number of times I’ve seen on FR, people saying things like “Australia is worse than China” might bear that out to an extent). The thing is, Australia does have a significant number of socialists - and while not all of them are going to be willing to act as mouthpieces for world socialism, some certainly are.

What sort of problems have you been ‘actively involved in dealing with’?

My wife just got fired yesterday from her job. She worked in a hospital and had a religious exemption till the wicked witch of NY (gov. Hoschul) decided to force the hospitals to revoke them.

I am most likely going to be suspended from my job any day now because I refuse to take the jab. If I lose my job we are planning on moving the out of NY state.

Working to ensure that the Victorian government didn’t succeed in passing all of its planned ‘Pandemic’ legislation which would have given the Premier even more uncontrolled power to violate people’s rights.

And we succeeded in that - not totally, unfortunately, but we had the worst provisions taken out of it.

Also highlighting the genuine cases of police overstepping the bounds of what is considered reasonable force - and there were some cases of that. But it became bloody hard to highlight those cases when we had people making up hundreds of other supposed cases that never happened. Try getting the media to focus on a real incident when the journalist you are talking to has wasted days dealing with lies.

Some of the other stuff, I can’t really talk about yet - I will say there are constitutional provisions that exist to deal with extreme overreach by government at a point that hasn’t been reached yet - and I hope will not be reached. I’m involved - albeit at a fairly low level - with setting up the environment in which those provisions could be used if necessary. I’m not going to describe that in detail, because if it’s needed, we don’t want to make it easier for anybody to interfere with that. I will say look at 1932 and 1975 in Australian history and what happened then to governments that went beyond the bounds of constitutional behaviour.

I am a remote IT worker for a big federal contractor that has a no jab, no job policy. I told them I’m not getting the jab, and termination day is currently Jan 5. I don’t think it will really happen due to all of the lawsuits, but I’m prepared if it does. It’s really affecting my team because nobody knows who will be around in another month, and planning anything has been really difficult. I live in Florida and considering submitting a Florida ‘I will wear PPE around others’ form (since I don’t work around others) from the law DeSantis signed. However I really have a problem asking for permission to do something I think is ludicrous for a mandate I think is ludicrous.

Best wishes in your fight. Stay strong!

I submitted my religious exemption, then submitted my retirement papers...9 months shy of my 20 year goal. Will cost me a little bit, but...

God feeds the birds and clothes the flowers of the field in splendor. How much more so does He care for us, created in His own image. It’ll be fine.

Agreed.

I have been remote since this stupid hysteria began and they shut the college. Not that I want to be. But honestly, I have not been on campus one inch of car since this started. Though I often pass it and park next to it for doctor issues.

It’s absurd that remote people are required to vax.

But that’s what our asinine president’s PTB came up with. Pretty funny because when I first complained to the “emergency ops” people (that was to whom we were directed to direct questions) about these dates (no plan yet), man in EO stated to me he couldn’t believe they’d require it of people who work off site.

Well, was he wrong!

I’m copying all my e-mails.

>>> Were Trump still in office, would you still hold the same opinion?

It’s NOT my opinion!
Trump’s being in office has absolutely NOTHING to do with the FACT that these “vaccines” kill.

1. They are not vaccines... they are GENE THERAPY to trigger an AUTOIMMUNE Disease response.
2. They act just like a virus... i.e. invade your cells and hijack their production mechanisms.
3. IF you already have antibodies to what the jab forces your body to produce (spike proteins) it ends up SUPERCHARGING your immune system which then ACCELERATES the onset of ADE (Antibody Dependecy Enhancement).
4. The graphene oxide which is the primary ingredient (97%) intended for cell penetration ALSO acts like thousands of micro razor blades in your blood system. This is why athletes are dropping dead on the field now... the faster your blood flows, the more damage the GO does.
5. Because the GO has magnetic properties, it affects the polarity of your blood cells, causing them to stack together instead of repelling other blood cells. (Causes BLOOD CLOTS)

I could go on and on.

These injections don’t work. They are designed to kill

Trump is either compromised and playing along to save his own life at the expense of MILLIONS of other lives, or he is just as dirty as Fauci himself and buddy buddy with Gates.

He has had more than enough time to come clean on this.

Nobody can convince me he has not heard from opponents about adverse reactions and death. This is NOT the same type of opposition to Trump well known from the left. I am FAR RIGHT.

Remember I didn’t mention Trump in my response.... you did.
I just said that natural immunity makes taking the jab twice as deadly. That is a claim being made by medical professionals... not political pundits.

Seriously your turning your whole country into East Germany for a virus with a 99% survival rate? Demanding medical treatment and then having the police go on a manhunt for you because you left the “medical facility” to recapture you suggests something is seriously wrong with this picture. A room with modern amenities is still a jail if the doors are locked from the outside. I suggest the entire country watch the late comedian George Carlin’s routine on You Have an Immune System.

As a supposed democracy Australia is showing it’s pretty much in name only. Anyone fighting the forced vaccination and being persecuted(fired, homes seized, starved, left homeless, bank account seized or incarcerated against their will) is a human rights dissident their rights are being violation just as odious as the old Soviet Union’s behavior and Communist China’s and if it’s Australia or the USA its wrong.

And I live in a rural area and we probably have 20 ICU beds if that. The fallacy you can control a virus is sending your country into a very dark place.
