I believe Kyle Rittenhouse faced over 2 life sentences for our cowardice. How many of us were willing to go into an Antifa, BLM, democrat-terrorist mob and try to restore order. Most of us (myself included) cowered in fear as these democrat-inspired mobs burned and looted our cities? Kyle, a 17 year old patriot tried to restore order and ultimately had to defend himself. Many of us in rural Georgia talked about defense committees but none of us ventured into the teeth of the dragon. May Kyle be a lesson to us that the only thing that will quell a mob is resistance. I'm tired of the pontificating about his lack of common sense and discretion. He showed us the way and did not back down. I hope he owns CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, and the rest of the lying fake media!
OK, I don’t agree with what Kyle did. What I do believe is the police should get a handle on the Antifa/BLM folks who are the real insurgents in this country. Burning, destroying, looting, and vandalizing is an insurgency
Hold on hoss. Before you go calling us cowards, consider that it was not our cities being attacked and looted and burned. These were democrat hellholes that most of us could not care less about.
Maybe the reason Kyle got himself into such trouble is because he was just a boy and untrained in guerrilla warfare.
Which part ???
Defending himself ???
You don’t agree with protecting your own local community. That’s what Kyle was doing.
“The police should” and they do not. So you are justified in doing nothing, right?
You completely miss the point of the post and appear to be one of the __ssies still trying to justify your inaction.
Ultimately I agree with your personal inaction. Would not want to rely on you in a fight.
The police sould have quelled that riot by resisting it while the Maypor and his minions did a stand down order.
The Police and national guard could have prevented all of it.
The Governor and Mayor are RESPONSIBLE.
Very true! But respect for law and order has to start somewhere. The only criticism of Kyle is he could have used a little more NRA marksmanship training.
I read about the horrific sufferings of the boys that fought in the Civil war (true of the Revolutionary war). No shoes in frozen temps with bloody tracks in the snow, deprivations, starvation, disease and think that that could actually happen again.
But if that is the cost of keeping America, America - so be it. I doubt that many 68-year-olds lived very long once the battles began.
He certainly could have. I have to give some degree of respect to Antifa. There’s a reason they carry umbrellas and skateboards and dress all in black.
All the millions of a Soros dollars that go into training Antifa on how to commit anarchy through riots is pretty impressive. It’s their fascist version of state militias.
Hard medicine to swallow, but any truly honest person with integrity can see the truth in this.
Good words... The mirror is the very first thing to judge and lay blame.
Just to clarify, America’s sin was rejecting the God that established us as a free nation.
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance” (Psalms 33:12).
Most of us (myself included) cowered in fear as these democrat-inspired mobs burned and looted our cities?
Speak for yourself.
Kyle didn’t face 2 life sentences for my sins. He faced that possibility because of the corrupt DA,liberals and the MSM and even Biden. The lies were problem.
Glad he got off.. he wasn’t guilty of anything but protecting himself.
As for defending myself and family.. here in rural Georgia I’ll do that. If Atlanta burns I could care less just like I could care less and would make no effort to stop it in any major city. Let em burn and let them shoot and kill each other because I don’t give a damn. Those that choose to live there and elect the morons that run the cities deserve what they get.
Everyone is projecting: The Left sees a white supremacist, while the Right sees a patriot defending his community.
I raised boys who, not so long ago, were teens themselves. So, I saw a 17yo who should’ve had more parental supervision in his life.
That video of his punching someone from behind did not endear me to him.
But, what he did that night was purely self-defense. That’s the whole point.
To some people, risking your life is always wrong, and fighting for a cause is always lunacy.
Curiously, they usually believe your life is of no consequence to all the rest of mankind.
Kyle’s marksmanship and fire control were impressive.
A centre-of-mass shot on Grosskreutz wouldn’t have stopped Grosskreutz from getting a shot off.
Crippling Grosskreutz’s gun arm with a single shot was inspired.
You’ve never taken a life. And suffered years of remorse over it. No matter how much you try, you always see their face. (Desert Storm Vet)
Yes, let’s use words that liken Kyle to Christ.
That’s healthy.
He seemed very focused. He didn’t panic and start firing at the mob. Sometimes time slows down for a person in a life-threatening situation, and maybe that’s why Rittenhouse seemed hyper-focused.
Where were the civil authorities who allowed this lawlessness to escalate? Shouldn’t they be charged with a crime?
