The persecution of Kyle Rittenhouse continues. Even after a jury of his peers found the 18-year-old “not guilty” on all five counts in his high profile case, Democrat leaders are calling on the Department of Justice to intervene in the Rittenhouse case on “civil rights” grounds.
House Judiciary Committee Chair Rep. Jerry Nadler called on the DOJ to review the Kyle Rittenhouse case for possible federal charges.
This heartbreaking verdict is a miscarriage of justice and sets a dangerous precedent which justifies federal review by DOJ. Justice cannot tolerate armed persons crossing state lines looking for trouble while people engage in First Amendment-protected protest. https://t.co/Uh95Uc1Ddo — Rep. “This heartbreaking verdict is a miscarriage of justice and sets a dangerous precedent which justifies federal review by DOJ,” Rep. Nadler tweeted. “Justice cannot tolerate armed persons crossing state lines looking for trouble while people engage in First Amendment-protected protest.”
Biden earlier issued a statement indicating that he was “angry and concerned” about the not guilty verdict, but urged people to “express their views peacefully”:
“While the verdict in Kenosha will leave many Americans feeling angry and concerned, myself included, we must acknowledge that the jury has spoken. I ran on a promise to bring Americans together because I believe that what unites us is far greater than what divides us. I know that we’re not going to heal our country’s wounds overnight, but I remain steadfast in my commitment to do everything in my power to ensure that every American is treated equally, with fairness and dignity, under the law.”
“I urge everyone to express their views peacefully, consistent with the rule of law. Violence and destruction of property have no place in our democracy. The White House and federal authorities have been in contact with Governor [Tony] Evers’ office to prepare for any outcome in this case, and I have spoken with the governor this afternoon and offered support and any assistance needed to ensure public safety.”
The unpresidential statement is sending mixed messages to Americans and to the radical mob gathered in Kenosha, Wisconsin ready to riot at a moment’s notice. Vice President Kamala Harris’s statement was even more incendiary:
.@VP Harris: "The verdict really speaks for itself. As many of you know, I spent a majority of my career working to make the justice system more equitable, and clearly there is a lot more work to do." pic.twitter.com/GTl72a2Ddc — The Hill (@thehill) November 19, 2021
“The verdict really speaks for itself,” Harris said. “As many of you know, I spent a majority of my career working to make the justice system more equitable, and clearly there is a lot more work to do.”
Kamala Harris actually spent her time as California District Attorney locking people up for victimless crimes that she herself had committed.
Not to be outdone, Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) earlieer called Rittenhouse a “white supremacist domestic terrorist.”
As concerned parents recently learned, the Department of Justice under Attorney General Merrick Garland isn’t afraid to label Americans “domestic terrorists” for purposes of investigation and harrassment. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) also called Rittenhouse a “domestic terrorist.”
The Department of Justice is an entirely corrupt body that is not above persecuting a young man who was just exonerated by a jury of his peers. Former President Obama similarly called on his Attorney General Eric Holder to investigate Officer Darren Wilson after he was cleared of wrongdoing in the Michael Brown shooting case in Ferguson, Missouri in 2014.
It is now 2021 and the Democratic Party is still pushing for race riots — even in cases of clear defense where the so-called victims are white criminals, including a violent pedophile.
Kyle Rittenhouse isn’t guilty of anything the Democrats accuse him of and the radical left simply cannot stand that fact. If the Democrats have to make up bogus “civil rights” violations to further defame the young man, no one should put anything past them.
To say I am not surprised is sadly true. Still it is an example of how important political show trials are to managing Democratic voter loyalty.
The aquited Baltimore police feel your pain. The Obama goon squad is fading .
I did not know that it was illegal to drive over state lines.
Dear Nadler,
IT WAS A RIOT!
The police nor governor sought fit to stop.
Maybe that should be investigated for insurrection?
yes, the process is the punishment
Hey Nadler, get rectal cancer soon.
But I thought whites had no civil rights.
Wasn’t Kyle’s civil rights all ready violated by the
ADA.
This is total BS. Like Obama said… “It’s settled Law”
For Biden to say he’s upset with a jury’s verdict is a slap in the face to our most cherished facets of what it is to be an American.
Do’s Never agree with anything that they don’t like and the press will carry the water all day and night.
If an R even questions anything, they are instantly branded right wing lunatic.
No problem with this.
Where can I contribute
They continue to lie. At this point it’s all they have.
“The more he (and/or any supporters) victoriously mouths off the more the Feds are going to go after him… Just watch.”
You’re delusional.
Nothing will happen to Rittenhouse from the Feds. Just watch.
I knew this was coming.
You can shoot looters on sight.
Technically what the DOJ would be doing is not putting Kyle in Double Jeopardy, but ethically it is. These “civil rights” cases are just double jeopardy sneaking in the side door.
Yet Biden said he was standing by jury’s decision.
Omar and Pressley need to be forced to defend those statements under oath in court.
This has gone way beyond the Democrat/Republican usual dog and pony show. These people are flat out evil.
I think they were Jewish, at least one was, anti-Semitism? I put nothing past the DOJ.
Ok - This is the red line. This is out of control government doing a political persecution.
This is the very definition of a corrupt government.
